What good timing, a TFcon shortly after my sudden regaining interest in Transformers, close to home. Might have to go and see if I can rebuild some of my long lost collection.

We'll see if it lasts, but a friend from the board might come hang out with me at the con so that makes me more inclined to go

I like the 2016 Toronto TFCon shirt design much better than the last couple years of BotCon. If I don't pre-order the shirt or exclusives, will I be able to purchase them at the show for the same price if I change my mind?

 

Been a Transformers fan since G1 and have always wanted to go to one of the conventions. However, I can never find a layout for the vendors, booths, etc. nor a number count of vendors or participants. Can anyone help shed some light on previous years attendance and vendor numbers? (or even for 2016) I am about 4 hours away so I'm trying to determine if it's worth it or not. I appreciate any insight you can provide.

Is anyone out there interested in sharing a hotel room for TFCon Chicago? I am poor and splitting the cost would make things a lot easier for me.

Also, I'm male, and not going to roomshare with females, for the sake of decency/modesty/propriety/etc.

 

I have been to the last two TFcons in USA and they have been well worth it. The vendor numbers have been roughly 20-25 and 6-8 artists. Attendance-wise, it has been about 600-1000 people. The time that I truly enjoy it is after hours and hanging out in the hotel.

 

I second this. You won't regret going to TFCon. It's a lot of fun and this year they're in a bigger space than when they were in Chicago 2 years ago.

 

Any europeans visiting TFcon Chicago?

 

Finally purchased my weekend ticket for TFCon Chicago. $55 total, which includes all fees. Going budget so opted out of the shirt and the figure. Third party stuff doesn't thrill me as much as official stuff, so that extra $100 would be better spent on something I like better from the TFCon dealer room!   I can always decide to get a shirt at the convention if I like the design in person.
