Yup just bought one for $10 shipped on ebay. Was going to wait but fuck it it's too purty to resist. Also means it's probably the last thing Halo MB related I buy for awhile. God I love that helmet detail. There's also some figure given away COD related. Only see one on ebay but it looks pretty darn good.
Waiting on the Scorpion turned out to be the right decision. Went back yesterday and they dropped the price down to $25. I'm really impressed. It's super solid and the mixed green color looks great. It's also nice to have a figure of Buck in any form. Only thing that was frustrating was the instructions. No numbered bags on something this big is a headache and the green and black look really similar in the booklets that are a little too dark at times.
Yeah, MB's instructions have always left things to be desired. I had those exact same problems with the Falcon.
That might be awhile. Two sold on ebay and both were over $20 plus shipping. No real rush I guess. According to the tracking number my Flame Marine should be here when the mail comes. YAY!!!!!
Hmm... I'd be hard pressed to pass that up at $20 too. As for the CoD figure, yeah... I'm kinda bummed it couldn't be another zombie I had no interest in. Fortunately, Blok stuff isn't brick stuff though, most of the after market settles down over the course of a few months.
Went to Toys R Us with a 10$ credit, a 20% off coupon and got the new Dual Mode Warthog and the ODST squad set. I have completed Alpha Nine! "get.. this thing.. off of me..."
Wal-Marts around here are having random sale prices on MB sets. Picked up a few turtle sets at half off. A couple of the CoD and Halo sets were marked down too. Still looking for Romeo.
Since the scorpion I got the Gausshog for $14 at Walmart and the Banshee for $6 at a K-mart. (They are closing) Also just ordered the Vulture for $40 on the Microsoft store.
