Falco is awesome. He's definitely one of the coolest figures they've made thus far. Looking forward to more Zelda stuff revealed at SDCC.
I found a couple of paratroopa koopas and Falcos at TRU thursday. I passed on Falco since I don't have Fox. Has anyone seen those micro Mario Bros sets lately? My daughter asked me about them and I haven't seen them anywhere since.
The WON micro figures and 6" figure lines have been cancelled. Jakks Pacific is only releasing 2.5" and 4" figures now.
Finally found a 4" Windwaker Link. He stands much better than I was expecting and is also more poseable than I was expecting. Question for those who have him: do yours have a slit on each side of his tunic or just one side? Mine has a slit on the left side only, which allows the left leg a wider range of movement. It's an easy fix for me as soon as I get some new Xacto blades, I just thought it was a strange design choice.
I found some pics online of 4" series 7 and hot damn does it look like a solid wave. There's also another Toad in this wave.
Cool. In for all except Mario. I decided to skip all the costume variations of the main characters (except Tanooki Mario who is pretty cute and iconic for anyone who played SMB 3 a lot as a kid).
That sucks. I knew the 6" line had been canceled but not the micros. I wonder why my TRU keeps getting restocks of the 6" line then? Looks like I'll be skipping the next wave. Not much to excite me.
The only Mario I've bought so far is Tanooki, for the reason you mentioned and also because I love tanukis. Kitty Mario will be the only other one I get because I absolutely love the game he's from and it's my favorite suit in the game.
finally scored a metroid on vacation last week. really cool figure, probably the best I've bought from jakks pacific.
Yeah, I was shocked to see Metroid @ a local TRU recently. I never thought I would see one of those in the wild.
Absolutely going to get that Skull Kid, also hoping to find WW Link soon. I've given up on finding the Metroid, it's been out for so long but all I ever see are Ganondorfs
I wouldn't give up hope just yet. I just saw two Metroids show up at my TRU the other day, so they're still getting out there. It is funny though that the price difference between the 4" and 6" stuff is now, like, $2. TRU's pricing really makes you think sometimes.
I don't blame TRU for jacking the pricing up on these, considering you either buy them from TRU or pretty much don't get them at all. It's smart on their part to raise the price, as people will keep paying it.
I won't pay double for these, you guys can have them! These things have creeped up from 3.49 to 6.99 in a few months. I'm out!
Meanwhile my Target is still selling the 4" figures for $8.99. I'm sure it wont last much longer, though.
If target raises their prices it will be next week with the reset. I have already seen the new 2.5" figures there so they are not getting rid of the line
Just causes me to be more fussy. I wasn't skipping many figures in the early days of the line, but now I am letting most items pass by.
