    I agree, on this design the tail feels odd to be moving so much while the rest of the puppet is almost stock still. Doesn't really jibe with any of the other explanations why Godzilla is so stiff.

    The tail is CGI, looks like they made it bounce around like that to compensate for the crappy animatronics.

    Hm. I might try to find it... elsewhere then buy it when it gets an official release in the states.

    I did manage to see Godzilla 2000 in theaters way back when. I'd love to be able to get a chance to watch this one in theaters as well.

    The more I see of this the more I'm turned off. It's the director, it's my long established distaste for the director and that doesn't mean the movie won't be good but jesus do I dislike the style. And that tail.

    They said it would be later on this year, so I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being early sometime in Sept.

    Not too surprised at this point. Gotta say it's really impressive that they made Godzilla not look like he's CGI in a lot of shots.
