Surprised it hadn't be reported on any of the major news sites but veteran Transformers VA Ian James Corlett (voice of Cheetor) confirmed at TFCon Toronto that he will be doing a voice on the RID cartoon.

He didn't announce who he was voicing, all we know is that he is part of the voice cast.

For folks who may be unaware, Ian has done some voice work in LA from time to time, so it shouldn't be a surprise that he got a gig in LA, but this is first time in the franchise since the end of Beast Machines.

 

Sounds exciting! My guess is Sunstreaker.

 

Awesome to hear that.   It's cool that we got both Cheetor and Bumblebee's voice actors on the show.  

 

He probably won't be voicing Cheetor again, but it's cool seeing another BW voice return.

 

That's awesome. He wasn't just Cheetor, I heard his voice everywhere growing up. Hearing him make a comeback to TFs is great.

I remember him as Coconuts.

 

Now, we don't know if he'll be a guest star or a main character. Like how David Kaye had only one guest appearance. However, I hope he is an Autobot.

 

Cool, I wonder if he voicing Cheetor or Sideburn, again or deferent character.

Awesome news! Good to hear that the voice of Cheetor is coming back to TF!

 

You know, he wouldn't be a bad Starscream if they're going the route of the council and all that in RID that they've been doing in the comics and seemingly in the upcoming Machinama series.

 

Cool. I'm not into RiD'15 but its always nice to see a TF Veteran return to the franchise. Lets not forget he was also the voice of Sentinel.

 

I like the actor, but it makes more sense for Steve Blum to voice Starscream again with the other Prime cast reprising their roles.

Aw man that is awesome! I'd love to see him reprise his role as Cheetor. Or play a new character, (heck, even a Decepticon for that matter).

I thought RID 15 had ended its run except for a few unaired episodes? Cool that he is returning to the fold. though.

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure he voiced Leon SO Kennedy in Resident Evil 2.

 

Never thought I'd hear the likes of him again in Transformers since Beast Wars.

 

Oh man, what if RID Cheetor happens? That would be so cool.
