Hi all, have been away from here for a few months, real life keeping me busy, hope everyone is well.

Found a piece of my childhood the other day: I was over at my folks' place this weekend helping them with a clear out and I found a box of Matchbox RoadBlasters -13 in total (5 of the good guys - Turbo Force, and all 8 bad guys - Motor Lords) in good condition with only a few minor paint chips and complete with all of their clip-on armour (one of the lasers for the red car is bent and there is a bit of chrome wear on the silver armour but otherwise it's all good). Apologies for the poor picture quality, I just grabbed a quick pic on my phone.

Anyone have any idea what these might be worth? Thinking of sticking them on eBay and rolling the dice.

I applaud your focus. I love my CHUG figures too much to ever part with them. I reckon Masterpiece would go ahread of them, as the classics are so plentiful and fun :D

I have just finished an article on the V2 Ollie prototype.

You can check it out here, if anyone fancies passing some time :)

TFS-Express, I thought the price was pretty reasonable.

Ooh! Lovely! Mine will be here on Weds. Can't wait! Moar fembots for my collection :D
Little girl me would be proud.

Yup, anxiously awaiting that version too.

Heh heh! Good man! You got him then!
Titanium Saints Alpha Trion is bloody brilliant!
He's right up at the top of my 3P faves bunch.

A3 has been mentioned a bunch in this thread by those of us with him - as demonstrated above......"with zis Roche you are spoiling uzzz......"

Hulk - nice job as always, you certainly capture the fun right. Shame for that redo that the TR Wheelie pretty much fills every Wheelie shaped gap (there weren't many.....) in my collection now. Ollie long ago bit the big one during the great shelf-collapse of 2015. His feeble construction being no match for the feeble construction of the falling architecture and masonry that did for him good and proper.

    Haha, kinda what he deserved!

Thanks for the kind words, and glad you enjoyed it :)

I planned to stick TR Wheelie on the shelf and be done with it. It's a brilliant little figure, and one I am going to end up also buying the Takara version of just to get the GoShooter Headmaster (grrr).

Messing with this though, it fixes so many of Ollies problems and the fixes all make him more fun to play with if that makes sense. His transformation (either way) is no longer an epic ball ache of time consuming misery, trying to stop things breaking. His legs can move forward (SORCERY!) which makes the bot mode fun to much a bout with.

I can feel myself getting on board with it which is bad for my wallet.

I've had him for a while.

The new thing was actually the add-on set for Ultra Magnus.
I guess with people selling off classics there isn't much interest in that line here.

Oooh, Roadblasters! I remember these. Carded these go for... well I bought a MOSC Streaker for... £10? But looking at eBay completed sales the prices are around £5 to 10 for carded from what I can see on the completed listings.

Looking at it though, there don't appear to be any loose specimens that have sold... which is odd.

I had 7 myself as a kid, a Streaker by itself, and two of the three packs so I had Thunder Gunner, Barrel Bomber, Road Razor, Motor Master, Tow Nailer and Backstabber as well!

If you're not adverse to splitting up the set I wouldn't mind buying your Streaker off you (bottom row, second from the left in between Barrel Bomber and Motor Master) because I lost the bonnet armour on my childhood one. And one of the guns I think? I bought the MOSC one to replace the bits on my one... but I couldn't bear to open the package... so now I want a loose one.

I never lost any of the other bits for any of the others, and because Streaker was my first Roadblaster losing the bits always bugged me.

Quick question, does bleeding copiously over a plastic skull and swearing a lot count as a satanic ritual? If so I may mysteriously vanish overnight. Oww!

Summoning demons for fun and profit? If that's not Nite Wotchery I don't know what is.

PS---Did you sign anything in that blood? They modernised; you need to run the contract under an electron microscope first, these days...

Christ, you go away for 4 days and then you've got hundreds of pages to catch up on. Glad to see normal service has been resumed after last week's bumps in the road.

I've been away in West Wales for the weekend with the inlaws. Wife's birthday today which I'll be doing some extra shopping for and getting some bits and bobs because frankly I've been fucking useless at thinking of a present for her.

And now I'm back at work with the usual fuckwits.

Does anyone want a FOC Sideswipe?

@Sponge: You gave Murderbee a blood sacrifice? Oh my. He'll like that. Maybe too much.

    @Maz: Top Diapics!

@Tik: Does this mean that if Ferrero Rocher as big as a planet could be constructed, it would save lives? Or would that just attract cosmic dung beetles?

Also what would happen if Galactus met Unicron?

A quick job because it's SCORCHIO out there, but the arrival of Gewalt meant I decided to do this (p.s. the 'crashed spaceship' in the background isn't small, it's FAR AWAY). The first image is from the comics the first time they encounter the scraplets (original hanging proudly on the wall!)

Excellent line up, that guy is the business.

My DPD driver is in Cambridge according to th tracking update so he really is going to have to put his foot down if he is going to deliver my crap in the next hour...........maybe it's a helicopter? :D

Galactus Vs Unicron is just Galctus vs Ego the living Planet with more pointy bits. It's usually a bore-draw.

I find their estimations usually pretty good! My DPD driver (Mark usually!) spends hours less than a mile or so from my house before he gets here though, and it's really only suburbia around here.... I enjoy tracking him around on the map :)
