I'm a bit torn. I love the galaxy Force design. But I don't know that I'm interested in paying 3P prices for a duplicate of a design I already have, even if the articulation is superior. I will probably be more tempted if they deviate a bit from the established Galaxy Force design, give it the Maketoys treatment. That isn't evident to me in the drawing.

I'd also be more tempted by something like the maroon color scheme one of the toy releases had. I love that, but never purchased it.

I have a lot of nostalgia for the Cybertron era, because that's what I grew up with and it's still one of my favorite TF cartoons and toylines. I had a Galaxy Force Voyager Starscream but sold it... if I ever do decide to collect the cast of Cybertron, I'd definitely get this guy to use for Starscream.

So for the Maketoys Re:Master line we have had:

    MTRM-01 - Chromedome
    MTRM-02 - Hound
    MTRM-03 - Inferno
    MTRM-04 - Hardhead
    MTRM-05 - Grapple
    MTRM-06 - Pointblank
    MTRM-07 - Reflector
    MTRM-08 - Megatron
    MTRM-09 - Starscream
    MTRM-10 - Crosshairs
    MTRM-11 - Dreadwind
    MTRM-12 - Darkwing
    MTRM-13 - Galaxy Force Starscream
    MTRM-14 - Jazz
    MTRM-15 - Apeface

Anyone else thinking Galaxy Force Starscream seems really out of place? Seems like he should be part of the Cross Dimension series, with Cybertronian modes. Everything else is G1.

Excited for this one and really excited to see the alt mode. I'd love an MP of Armada Starscream too.

That would be rad. I've always wanted a modern version of Armada SS and sadly the Generations one didn't really scratch that itch.

As the original versions of GF SS are fun, chunky figures, I'm really interested to see what MT does here.

Yeah, GF Screamer is definitely out of place in that group.

    Maybe he was labeled wrong.

Or MT doesn't care what people think should be given the MP treatment (and cross dimensions figures are not MP's) and given this is an MP figure - specific scale, specific aesthetics, then it rightfully deserves to be in their master line up.

And yeah Howling Meteor - G1 Starscream., Galaxy Meteor - GF Starscream. Get ya info right before you embarrass yourself people. MT is double dipping in to multiple versions of characters.

Still makes no sense when they are making a similarly sized Cybertronian Megatron and Optimus in the Cross Dimension line... unless the various lines designate the DESIGNER, then if the same guy making the G1 MP is doing Galaxy Meteor it makes sense.

Another possibility is Galaxy Meteor ended up here because he is based on an improved HasTak design, where Cross Dimension is all "original" designs.

No, the line isn't about Geewun, it's about Masterpiece. The BW MPs aren't separately numbered from the "real" MPs, so why should this C MP standin be separate from their other MP standins?

Maybe it isn't Starscream at all... it could be Universe Dirge, who is G1/Primax/War Within.

Beast Wars is Primax multiverse cluster. G1, G2, Machine Wars, Universe, Classic, etc.. all Primax cluster.

I have no idea why you feel the need to correct everyone. You know exactly what was meant, and yet you cannot help yourself with ERM ACTUALLY posts. Just relax and act like a human being.

And I wasn't correcting you, Scrap. I just think it will be interesting to see if they use a new numbering system if they were to make a MP, of say, Armada Prime. They used new numbers for the Movie Masterpieces. I could see them not using new numbers since BW is in continuity with G1.

MP isn't confined to G1. Those Bayformer movie MPs are proof of that. I'm no fan of the Unicron trilogy but I don't have an issue with Maketoys including this in their Re:master lineup.

It would be cool if they did Cybertron Megatron somewhere down the line, because that might mean an SG Megs

GF Meteor does initially seem a little strange, as the only figure from that group to be included. But yes, MP is MP, whatever the fictional source.

I would love a GF Megs, normal or SG.

Actually no, beast wars is part of the same universe as sunbow g1. Some of the others you named are part of the same universal cluster, such as the g1 and g2 comics, IDW comics, and war within comics, but beast wars is part of the same universe as g1.

I didn't say it cannot be MP, just that it seemed out of place, particularly when they have a parallel line of Cybertronian alt modes, and there is already a Starscream in this line.

After all, it was so out of place, people thought it was an April Fools joke!
