From what I understand here is the Allied Forces(V) logo + the Decepticon logo so there is this TRF group working with 'Cons because it's said that this logo was seen at their base.This could be the Decepticon version of NEST.It makes sense since a human was held down with the gun at his head while a big explosion happened.And those military vehicles rolling with Decepticons...it all adds up...Megatron being a fighter jet...working with the Air Force...hmmm...

 

I have two theories on that insignia:
- It’s a new Decepticon faction using that base as a base

- It’s a false flag operation. A bunch of human villains are going around causing trouble, but using the Decepticon insignia as a smokescreen so that people will think they’re Decepticons. However, this ends up attracting the real Decepticons to them... (this theory I prefer)

If Lennox is there, it’s either of his own choosing or against his will (this one sounds more likely).

Anyway, it’s a pretty cool redesign of the Decepticon logo.

 

This "con emblem" that "the riddler" put up isn't even the one on the flag. Similar but not anything official.

 

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's a Roman 5 overlaid on a Decepticon symbol, similar to the old TF4 logo.

I agree with the second one, since part of the symbol on the flag is that ^，upside down V

 

The symbol on the flag is a V, which is the Roman numeral for 5. The symbol on the military vehicles is a lambda (Greek L). They may look similar but they're completely unrelated.

It's called a chevron.

 

Maybe this is a Decepticon sub faction that had enough of being part of the main faction and decided to form their own sub faction with Barricade as their leader which would still have rivalries with the Autobots then once a bigger threat comes along they band together to face it.

 

Yes I know what a chevron is, but I was pointing out that it's a capital lambda rather than a V.

 

hm..i like this...a good lead-in to TF6..also barricade would be a proper candidate for such a faction...a split in the decepticons would bring a fresh coat to the storyline

From what I understand, Chevrons and Lamdbas have absolutely no connection, other than the coincidence of being the same shape. You could just have easily referred to it as an arseless 2D pyramid.

 

So you did the same thing you tried to correct the other person for doing, only you deliberately mislabeled the symbol?
