Here's a nice Skywarp box I just received. The three Series 1 jets look good together.

Also, here's something I picked up cheap. I think it's an old (80s) KO. It's weird, though. It was obviously made in China, but there's no date, copyright, trademark, company name, etc. Furthermore, the figure has no stamping, an unpainted face and no stickers other than the one on the underside of the front loader. I've never seen this before (nor had the seller and they couldn't confirm what it was either). I've inquired with "Maz" about this, but I've yet to hear back. In any event, I'm a sucker for packaging, and I think it's a really cool piece despite the box being in very rough shape.

Speaking of their website. I seriously need to contact them. They have not updated their reports since 2011. And I need the listings for 2014 to present. :redface2:

    Thanks.

Here's a rarer "TM" Megatron box (Milton Bradley European variant) that I just picked up, which will go nicely with the matching Soundwave box.

those Milton Bradley boxes are absolutely gorgeous Khopson , and I can appreciate how somewhat difficult they are too obtain. I've been searching for the Minibot cardbacks and they are near impossible to find.

Reminds me too post some wonderful minibots I received from the AFA godfather iamratchet :)

Thanks. Yeah, I agree. The MB boxes I have are less common but not impossible to find. I can only imagine how difficult it is to find the minibot versions. I think I've only seen one of them before. You'll have to share pics of the minis you bought from Morgan. He always has good stuff.

It worked out very well surprisingly. I had asked for the cost of replacing the case and they said it was their fault and refunded everything.

    Thanks, guys.

    That's great!

I'd also like to thank Chris for this fabulous "TM" Prowl box.

Thanks, Andy. The picture doesn't really do that Prowl box justice. It reminds me of my Hound box. No flap crease, straight, vibrant, etc. Just really clean and sharp overall. Now it's time for a breather. :)

By the way, Chris did shed some light on that Bonecrusher I posted a few days ago. It's a vintage KO. I know those two words don't really go together, but it just means it's an original KO from the 80s. It's a pretty cool piece, and I like it.

Nice new pictures khopson. By the way... Does anyone here know where I can find a book or website that shows all of the original versions of the 1984 Transformers? In other words something that explains what Transformers had no grey borders, Which ones had the TM then the copyright? Stuff like that.

I'm sure there's information out there somewhere, but I've been waiting for an all-inclusive source/book like this. Though I love the book, that's where I think "Legacy: The Art of Transformers Packaging" really disappointed. I thought we would get pictures of actual boxes and information on individual figures. I actually think "Transformers Vault" is a better source of information and much more interactive, but I love both. In an ideal world, some AFA guys would put together a book like this.

I wanted to share this piece of news with you guys.

This is in regards to my very first AFA graded item, which I personally had paid to be graded. It was a Transformers Legends "LG09" Brainstorm, which received an overall AFA grade of 85 (B: 85, W: 85, F: 90). The damage appears to be packaging/shipment related.

As for the inquiry, I presumed that at least one Transformers Legends figure would have been graded. But, after receiving this response, I was corrected:

In other words... I have not only submitted the first "LG09" Brainstorm, I also have submitted the first Transformers Legends figure. Which I hope is impressive.

But even if it is not, thanks for the motivation. :thumb

Since you have asked, here. I plan to take another photo before I have it re-wrapped and prepared for the day I move. Not sure where yet, but I want to have photos of all my pieces for documentation purposes. Plus, I want to note that the B: 85 is due to what I have noticed:

    - Superficial to noticeable wear on the front of the box.
    - A minor ding on the outer-bottom portion of a side flap.

The downside to not having an AFA 90+ piece is the fact that I have a cognitive variation of OCPD. But it is also one of the three rarest pieces in the Transformers Legends line. That, and one other factor I need to confirm later this year. So here is the photo. And I will hope that I will have a photo of my collection completed, graded, and displayed. So here is to that goal. :)

^ Nice one man. I think its always a good thing preserving rarities no matter what toy line it is.

@Kevin, I bet it is because pics never seem to do justice on toys that look great & that one looks exceptional. Only forthe color break on the side flap its a lay down 90 box & window

You're right, Andy. The slight color break on the tape-cut side would hurt the grade a little, but it would make for a really nice piece with sealed contents.
