THis is what happens when massive leaks occur

Remember the TR deco slides? That was SDCC apparently.

 

"Well we had a buch of new stuff to show you guys but some fuckers already leaked it, see you next year."

 

Not every TF goes on sites like TFW to find out about that type of information though and even if they did we still have yet to see the rumors of certain characters like the Diaclone Powered Convoy repaint of PM Optimus and Broadside be confirmed true or not yet and there's still CW Liokaiser that we have yet to see proper promotion of yet.

I think we'll see the Hasbro TF panel on Sunday and if we don't well that's a bummer though so far I think it's a little to say that there's no TF Generations panel for this year's SDCC.

 

The Hasbro panel is on my Birthday. Any surprise they reveal is a Birthday present to me. But I'm not really looking forward to anything.

 

There is no reason to think they wouldn't announce the panel ahead of time if it was going to happen at all, since people need to plan out what panels to attend and it would be problematic to announce it after people have already gotten their schedules in order.

But the simple answer that was obvious from the beginning is that there is no toy panel this year. Which frankly is not a good sign of Hasbro's priorities.
