TCP has had Slag on PO for some time now. I don't remember him getting any kind of renders thrown up tho.
I really like these guys so much that I'm thinking about buying two more complete sets, that way I can have them displayed in all modes.

I seem to be doing the second re-stock at BBTS more often. The initial batch comes in, sells quickly, and I grab one for the second batch.

FT's versions are toon accurate. GC's versions mimic the original G1 toys, so if you don't want larger size versions of the toys you had in '85, I'd go with something else. As far as scale, Wrath is the only one that could potentially fit with MP's. I'm gonna display them with my TT Unite Warriors combiners, but I kinda wish I went with FT or the like.

Not too late if you like the X repaints! Think a couple are on sale now at various retailers.

I don't believe I have seen any personal pics. of your shurakings with Blade attached to it.
In my case, he makes Wrath's waist lean horribly to the left. Does this happen to any of you?
Also, I feel the connection between Wrath's leg pegs and both legs seems a bit wobbly when you lift the whole thing up. Does this also happen to any of you?

Yes. Wrath likes side bends when blade is around. Should even out with slag. The legs are very heavy. You have to expect that

Has anyone tried adding any rubber bands to the waist? Similar to the fix with feral Rex's thigh ratchet?

I plan on taking a look tonight. Even though slag will put weight on the other side it's not gonna help in many arm poses

I tried a few different fixes. i ended up going with a waist shim/spacer which i finished last night. It holds the waist rock solid and eliminated most of the lean.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

1/2 mm modelling sheet cut down to the size of the waist pieces, sanded a bit on both faces with some red paint around the edges after test fitting. There was enough of a gap with mine that the spacer fills it without putting any stress on the screws or pins.

I tried to fit a spacer inside the joint but because of the construction it wasn't possible

Looking good, will try that if the other arm does not balance the whole thing.
What about the legs? Anyone having the wobbly issue? (maybe it's just me mistransforming it.)

Finally opened up and assembled Shuraking (minus one arm, of course). Sadly, Wrath has a ratchet problem in his left combined mode leg. I bought it back in September, and outside of contacting the manufacturer, can't imagine I have much recourse. And it seems there is no contact info for the manufacturer anywhere.

I also have the severe lean problem, and combined mode is floppy mess.

Not very happy with the quality of Shuraking, to be honest.

I have my issues with the set of my own but you have to transform each part just right for it to stand correctly (I had the same problem 1st I combined them. )
My main issues with the set is thunderous and growls hips my grimlock and swoop are fine

Yeah, a few of my earliest problems were certainly transformation based. But the one ratchet in Growl is definitely no good, and I can't get completely rid of the lean no matter how precise I transform each part. I've followed multiple online tutorials, but no change in the overall stability of the toy.

Maybe it varies for each individual, but my Shuraking definitely has some disappointing and serious issues.

Nice picture. How tall is he? I expected him to be gigantic when the leg parts first came out.

So whats the quality like on these figures? Ive read the last 20 pages and everyone seems to have to make some kind of modification to fix an issue. Shouldnt have to do this with an item so expensive.

Well to be honest yes, I've had to mod my dinobots(grimlock had to have his inner shoulders glued to his chest, sludge needed his foot taken apart because a joint was too tight, swoop will need his combiner elbow stiffened and grimlock will need the combiner waist mod). Gcreations is new to making 3rd party transformers so yeah there are some issues but damn did they incorporate some killer transformations. The alt modes are spot on. Wrath is just unbelievable in hand and the combined mode is just breathtaking still. Eagerly awaiting slag to complete the set. You couldn't talk me out of my slightly factory flawed Shuraking/Extinction
