This is a great gesture on the part of Maketoys-definitely helps keep this hobby in perspective... Just ordered Hellfire directly from Maketoys...

    Hey guys

I ordered Hellfire from Maketoys as part of the donation for Fort McMurry.
My order went from Open to Complete and I never got a tracking number. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of customer service on the site. Anyone have the same experience or know where to contact them? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    -Mike

Pretty sure that's how they shipped out Wrestle (Grapple) to people. They didn't include tracking numbers. They just shipped out and people got them less than a week later.

Maketoys was very quick about it to me too without sending more than the order confirmation email. I got an email from UPS over the weekend with a tracking number, and the figure just arrived on my doorstep yesterday.

Hellfire in hand, with sticker on the box.

Not sure if I should open it or store it...

Oh, that's nice. I don't usually wanna sticker up my stuff but I would love it to say "FUSO" on the front. Might have to get it just for that.

Those stickers look great on it.

Amazing what just a few stickers do for looks.

That "Fuso" stickers is much better than I expect, I do not like the idea to cover the molded grill with a 2D stickers, but the sticker itself is not flat, the printed grill actually has some texture on it, it still looks that it is molded, turns out really great.

I realize I'm a few years late when it comes to Hellfire, but I picked him up today at TFCon for $60 loose. It's my first experience with a third party figure and I'm very impressed, the quality's better than many official releases. While the wing bits are somewhat loose, I'm still very happy.

EDIT: Personally after investigating the figure, I'm worried one of the two waist pieces (the non-diecast one) will break due to the stress caused by the ratchet, and the fact that the piece is only held together on one side.

Umm are hellfire's front tires supposed to tab in better than this? They don't seem to stay in or lock all the way. Am I missing something?

Yeah something is off there. I'm at work but can check mine tomorrow when I get home. Do those grey tabs on the wheels have tab slots they go into on the red parts? That seems what is holding them out. Regardless, I don't ever remember mine being like that. I'll check it for you. Emgo does an excellent review on this guy...might see the answer there before I can get back to you if you're up to watching a video.

EDIT: I watched the video and I remember now but yeah, they tab into those grey bits and that's what's making it lean out. If yours won't tab in, then something might be off on the tab or the slot...maybe some flash or something? Mine just popped right in and stay in from my memory now but it was a first release edition (not sure if that matters at all). Can you push them in to get them to lock on that tab?

Yeah, they red tabs can go in the the slots of the gray piece, but the tabs sort of bounce back out half way. Everything else on the vehicle seems to tab in okay. Perhaps I didn't fold or compress the legs all the way and the tab and slots are slightly misaligned. Thanks for trying to help. I guess I'll go far back into the transformation and try again.

Huh. Mine tabs in fine. But sometimes I do need to make adjustments to get everything perfect on some stuff. I'd suggest looking at the hole it tabs into and see if any flashed plastic is in there that shouldn't be, and get an x-acto and clean it up. If that doesn't work, see if you can shave down the tabs a tiny bit to get them to fit in there properly - they might have a bit of extra flash plastic on there too.
    Enjoy! Still love this toy.

I do know this guy can be a little finicky if you don't have stuff lined up just right in vehicle mode but usually that's the back end. I checked mine again and it's just popping them in and that's it. If you have time, let us know if you found anything out on yours.
