SO just seeing this "Switcheroo" episode for the first time. boy that episode is hilarious. love this episode.

 

That's a great ep! I loved that they didn't swap the voice actors as most shows do. Clever and fun!

 

Finally got a chance to watch All Spark Day last night, ughh, I would have loved the episode if it had been about ASD.. but CeCe going BIG was grating on the nerves, control your kid Doc!.... look at how High Tide manages it.  

What bits they had were great, Optimus statue, Energon fountain  , parades, etc.

 

Just watched the episode "Part-Time Heroes" that title makes me laugh slightly since the voice actor for Miko is in the show Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. The episode was alright, though I really can't find myself liking the mayor character. I got a good laugh out of Chase as a taxi driver and I liked Heatwave when he had to scare off the moose. So overall an okay episode.

 

Chase had me rolling as a cabbie. "What? No tip? Thanks for nothing, you big palooka." I also liked Blades & Huxley being cozy as TV personalities.

 

Yep... Chase as a taxi-driver cracks me up, along with Heatwave and Kade as crossing guards.

I wish and hope they would explore in a future episode Boulder as a cook, and a good one at that. That would be hilarious.

All in all, I like this episode.

 

I want to hear the rest of High Tides story about the Destruction of the Hammer of Primus

 

Yep, those were the best/funniest parts for me too, otherwise, the ep was kinda meh and silly/stupid... again the Mayor is a putz who spends all the town's money on an inflatable stadium... that of course cleats can take out.... didn't even get to play 1 game. Too bad he didn't go down with the stadium.  
At least they finally got the upgrade on their communications tower.

 

Okay first off, major credit for a reference that only "old" people will get: Taxi (The TV Series that ended in 1983). The guy running the Taxi cab company is very much Louie De Palma (Dany DeVito's character) from the show. Furthermore, when Chase pulls up, the soundtrack is very close to the "theme song" for the show.

Beyond that, it was a bit of a repetitive plot; the mayor screws up, the bots try to fix the problem without being obvious, the town comes together in the end to support the bots. And even if the inflatable stadium existed, it wouldn't sink quite like that.

Chase excelled in this episode IMHO.

All that said, I still enjoyed the episode and even had a few laughs.

 

My folks loved that show.... Judd Hirsch, Christopher Lloyd, DeVito, Tony Danza, lots of folks who did other shows came from that one.Yeah, even looked like DeVito a little bit.... and the music did sound like that.
Figures Chase would 'be inspired' by it too... lol

 

Kind of a fun ep (the jobs one), and was interesting trying to see the bots do other jobs than they normally do, heh. Heatwave looked adorable in his reflective vest and tiny stop sign hehe. Good to see Salvage again as well. Kinda wished the other RBs would appear in more eps tho.

 

Well, the other Rescue Bots are supposed to appear in the two parter event episodes, the one that aired today and the one that airs next week.

 

Gotta say, Cece is going on my list of 'disliked' characters for RB... and there's only 2... Luskey and her.  
Keep the kid at home, she doesn't need to be dragged from the old to new base/training center. Think we're supposed to be guessing

Hadn't paid attention to the Training Center design (toy) b4, but sure looked a lot like Optimus... a Mega Optimus!  

Poor Blades, always wanting to have the big party.... and Heatwave being the party pooper.  

Nice to see Blurr in action again, racing, Quickshadow cheating! (according to Blurr)  
Kade really liked that Bot-sized bowl of popcorn... with bacon!! 

Not much more to the ep really, except waiting for Pt 2.

 

Did Optimus show up in the episode?

 

Nope, not in Pt. 1, hoping for Pt. 2 tho.

 

Really enjoyed this ep, despite the lack of much of a threat, although I like pretty much any ep that shows off more Cybertronian stuff. It's great seeing the training center finally finished (reminded me of Fort Max), and every Rescue Bot there to check it out. The emotional... Turmoil(?) of the episode worked fairly well, since this does seem to be a big change for the show, although I'm doubting this will effect the show much.

Hopefully the next episode reveals that all the problems at the end were caused by Soundwave, who was masquerading as Blurr's Boombox.

 

Was leaving out that little tidbit for others to catch when they got to watch, thought it was funny that their boombox looks very G1ish.  

 

Wasn't expecting a two parter, so that was fun. Interesting premise, but it's a bit funny that for all their advancements and AI in the past series, that they've got a human hodgepodge to run their base.

Chase rescuing that Armored Truck was pretty boss, that couldn't have been light.

 

Anyone wanna discuss the upcoming episode "Uninvited Guest" ? I keep thinking that it's going to be the episode to explain
