Next question - which is the most powerful ability?

I'm going to call out Rocket barrage. This thing is deadly and can be used multiple times unlike orbital strike u can only use twice at the most

 

Orbital Strike has the larger target range though. I find myself using the Orbital Strike way more often the rocket barrage even when both were on my team. Start with Orbital Strike then mop up with Air Strike, EMP Blast, or Defensive Rush. By the time my rocket barrage gets into the range of anything my frontline guys are already getting hosed by mortars and lasers.

 

I'm finding it situational. As enemies get bigger and there are more than just 3 cannon/laser turrets and the shield turret comes into play taking costly abilities wont help much as not all targets will be dealth with when your out of energy. However as you can only plan ahead what setup to take for alliance war, it seems more important to me to find abiities that are in sync with each other when going in blind.

 

I find it totally unfair How there's tons more flyers on the Autobots side.

I mean for fuck's sake man, the Decepticons are all about Flying!!!  

Also, i'm a bit miffed.

Just saw a few vids on youtube with people opening crystals who are just youtubers and not even staff working on the game.

and they opened tons featuring Cyclonus, Nightbird etc. how's that possible. Especially Cyclonus?

He's not due to come out til next month.

Very jealous. My first was 120 2* shards.

 

I think decoy's base matching is a little screwed up. I picked a 2500 fight and got a lvl 12 HQ (which I never see in the next zone up normally). Saw something similar earlier where I ran like a 1500 team earlier and got 3 guard posts and a lightning tower.

Seems fine most of the time but every once and a while...

 

In the example given, I'm fighting at or over my suggested level and not near the cap.

 

Thank you for confirming that I should not spend any money on this game. I was disheartened that my first 2-star crystal from that last event turned into a character I already had. If I had spent $40 only to see this developers shitty RNG deliver me one new character, I'd probably file a charge back on my cc and file a complaint with the developers.

 

To be fair though, I'm rank 20 and have a shit ton of bots. so it was bound to happen. (more bots you have, more dupes ya get)

If it makes you feel a bit more at ease, all my free crystals today been giving me 2 - 3 star cons I didn't have yet.  

Also, on my first Decoy Crystal, I got none other than a 3* Nightbird!. So damned happy.

 

It's like putting money into a slot machine. Unless you love the thrill of gambling and don't mind the agony of losing, OF COURSE you should not be feeding it quarters. That said, blaming the slot machine when you play and lose is a little silly. Watching one person here do it multiple times thinking something different is going to happen is troubling.

If you spend money ONE TIME at the very beginning of the game, you are guaranteed to get something you don't have. Maybe even something nice. But after you have played any length of time at all, it is absolutely a losing bet. Just through the natural playing of the game, I have acquired pretty much all 1* and 2* characters. That means that any crystal I buy from this point forward has about a 95% (or greater) chance of being a 1* or 2* character, and thus, another dupe. Everyone should understand this already. Don't let yourself be tempted into a bet you already know you are going to lose.

 

Also, the more Dupes ya get, the more shards you get, the more shards ya get, you get 2-3 star crystals which will usually give ya something.

My Dupes reward shards helped me get my 3* Brawl. The Decoy shards have been giving me bots too.
That's why doing these events is important. 60 prestige gives ya 60 chances to get awesome bots. (for free I might add)

 

Free crystal gave me my first 3 star - Brawl.

My first Decoy crystal? - 60 f'ing 3 star crystals! Why does this game screw me over like this, spend a few hours to try and get the decoy crystal cause I really want Nightbird but instead the game tells me to screw off.

 

Like I told you in Alliance chat before you rage quit, keep doing random battles to level up your guys and get resources. And congrats on the Nightbird!
