I shouldn't be laughing, but those "articulation" shots are literal gold!

Just got a shipping notice on my IKEA order, it's supposed to be here Saturday. Also might be making a trip back to Georgia this weekend to gather my G1 stuff, so hopefully I can get everything set up next week. Might as well do it now as I'm having a lot of trouble finding a job in Indiana. Not many telecommunications jobs in Indianapolis :(

Takara made a few different Kronoform transforming watches during G1, but these are the most common and the only ones I have to show, lol.

Haha, excellent! I love the third photograph in particular. :)

That's a good-looking Silverbolt, by the way. Mine has yellowed a lot - even thought he's spent most of the past twenty years in a box.

So guys... As of last Monday, I have started my AFA graded, exclusive-free, modern Japanese G1 continuity collection. I am 25% towards completing the first phase of this goal, and ~5% overall.

So I am hoping that by 2017, maybe 2018, I will have photos to post. But, until then, I am trying to figure out if I should display them by faction... Numeral order... Or just not think about it until I know the overall dimensions I will be working with.

    That, and...

I have to wonder if these guys are members of House Huffer-puff. :p

Been working on the Autobot side this morning :)

I still need to build one more shelf to finish the Euro/Japanese/G2 figures
(Probably will rearrange the foreign guys in general once that's up)

    Enjoy :)

    My IKEA stuff came today:

Couldn't go pick up my G1 stuff this weekend, might go next weekend. That's ok, going to take some time to get all these shelves built :)

Turbine, those corner Billys look really good. I considered getting one but it was just too expensive.

In all honesty, those "sets" online are literally just individual bookcases anyway. You just mount them together. There's not even a discount (which I was dissapointed by) but those sets also include the height extensions which might explain the sticker shock...

Good luck with the shelves, I think I'm an expert at em now ;)

So happy. I found a very clean Tracks, no rifle, to replace the one that I idiotically traded away 2 1/2 decades ago. So clean that despite the slight sticker wear I suspect that he's a loose Commemorative Edition. I also found a copy of the Transformers Universe collected book, which I'd never before laid eyes on.

Are there any significant identifying features to tell the difference between an original Tracks and a reissue? I only paid $20 CDN for him so I'm not upset either way, just curious. He has 80,84 moulded on his back if that means anything.

What does the date stamp say? Also, does it mention China or Japan?

Exactly, it was very disappointing that getting 2 side-by-side was the same price as buying 2 separately. You'd think they'd offer some kind of markdown for buying multiples.

Thanks! It isn't just the 4 Billys either, I also need to assemble a Detolf and 2 additional shelving units from Big Lots for the rest of the TFs I'm keeping in the collection room at my new house.

Just to aid I took a look at my original Tracks and the commemorative edition I have.

Turbine is right; the reissue was made in China but I also noted the difference between the rivets used on the wings; plastic on the reissue and metal screw and washer on the original. Hope this helps...

For some reason the poxy picture uploader won't let me upload two pictures so first up the original...
