Hopefully they plan on doing movie verse Soundwave with his minions too.

 

Well for the movies we have DOTM Megs, DOTM OP, DOTM Bee, DOTM, Starscream, DOTM Ironhide, DOTM Shockwave, AOE Drift and Lockdown (with or without his dogs) and AOE OP with Grimlock. I think that's all so far? And movie 1 jazz and DOTM Ratchet on the way.

So yeah I'm sure we will get Soundwave, Barricade for sure now, and others. I want a set for the twins lol.

 

As much as I've liked the movie designs, these are looking great. Kind of a shame that the cinematic universe isn't a full reboot and reimagining.

 

It would be nice to see DOTM Soundwave in all his glory for once. I thought It was a pain in the ass to acquire licensing from Mercedes, and that's why we haven't seen him. Prime1 Lockdown is missing his signature lambghorhini on his chest, could Soundwave also have his Mercedes logo absent? You got two statues if I remember correctly.

 

laserbeak looks great, but soundwave's head looks fairly generic...

 

Drift has his Bugatti logo missing too. Hasbro had the license for the cars are far as making their transforming figures (in fact it seems that Daimler/Mercedes are happy to a Decepticon that turns into one of their vehicles as long as there's also an Autobot that's one of theirs too - Soundwave/Que, Optimus/Galvatron, the new junk truck and whoever else), but I think it might just be the car companies won't lisence something that doesn't represent their product. Or it could just be too expensive just for the sake of adding a logo.

 

the junk truck and the Hound vehicle are both Mercedes.
