Dunno about great customer service. I have had issues with figures that were dismissed immediately with a "suck it up" email from Liz. My Ramjet's left shoulder and intake have cosmetic dings that are very noticeable, like someone banged it with a stiff grill brush. When I asked I was told "yeah, they're like that". I've seen plenty of Ramjets that don't look like hamburger, so I know that's not the case. I only order from BBTS if they're the only ones in stock, as I've had several cases of "eh, whatevs bro!" (nearly all from the same service rep) as responses when I asked about an issue.

I'm always polite, so I am not sure why the indifference tbh. It doesn't seem to line up with other feedback I've heard from them.

 

It seems like that happens almost randomly with BBTS sometimes. I've found that if you follow-up politely and show contrasting pictures of yours and a few non damaged copies from the internet you can probably get some traction.

 

Surprised no one's posted that TFSource finally started shipping. Got notified on Friday that they finally got their stock back. Got shipping notification yesterday. I'm pretty disappointed there was no "sorry, here's a discount or something free" after all of that. Debating whether to send a message but don't want to come across as whiny and entitled.

 

I noticed their listing said something about QC corrected or something along those lines. I'm curious if that's true. Might be somewhat of a consolation (though still kind of dickish of them to not notify people.)

Yes, all their stock was opened up to inspect and, when necessary, fix the shoulder issue. The wing piece is still present on mine, and appears to be on everyone's regardless of where they got it from.

 

I might do the same thing..... Tired of waiting!

 

Looks like I'll be getting mine from TFsource soon they finally charged me and put it in my stack.

 

I got mine yesterday! Haven't had time to open him yet though.

 

I got my replacement one yesterday. Only issue is see is the wing tab issue that they all seem to have.

What wing tab issue? If you're referring to the reversed arms that prevent the wings from tabbing in, that was corrected after the first run, and even then only present in about 50% of figures.

 

He's talking about the reversed tabs on the wings, most often seen in alt mode. They all have it, sadly.
