My little nephew and a few of his friends were just cast as extras for TF5 and my good friends at Real Style Casting has asked me to share this in hopes that someone here may fit the part. Is it you!?!? Please contact them and sing up now. FTJ! FTJ!


We are casting talent and we are currently looking for the following:

Young boy 5’0-5’2 140-160 lbs, waist 34 dark hair, longer (may need to be trimmed or cut for the role)
Young boy 5'0-5’2 90-110 lbs, waist 27, sandy brown, dirty blond, longer hair (may need to be trimmed or cut for the role)

Must be available on Thursday, June 30 and Friday July 1.
Filming is in the Detroit area.

Yeah, I always find that the best way to judge the quality of a movie that hasn't even finished filming yet is by the height, waist size, and hair color of casting calls for two young extras.

This seems like oddly specific requirements for just some extra. Are they even going to give him any lines?

 

They'll probably be characters as much as the two jerks in the 2002 "Spider-Man" film who kept bumping into Peter and making snide remarks.

After all, every other person in a Bay film has to act snarky to each other.

And frankly, let's be honest here, these are going to be bit roles at best. Remember the casting call for the super short guy back in ROTF? Boy that sure was great for all of the one gag, really tied into...well, literally no other subsequent part of the film, it was explicitly for the one visual gag. Simmons running a deli was more important in that scene than the guy being short.

 

Well, I can't say much for the scene that my nephew and his 3 friends were picked up for but I can say they were picked up for a role that might be all of 30 seconds long, maybe.

As for the 2 particular looks here they are looking for, a bit of info I was able to get is that one role may be for kids to fill in as other orphans in a (not to fare back) flash back scene to Isabela's character either in an orphanage or some form of foster home. And another role might be for a chunky kid or more to be part of a quick store/candy store scene involving Squeeks, Wheelie and these kids. All subject to change lol.
