Computron's hands and feet should that way for more combiners.

Soundwaves arms are a bit chubby. That's what I noticed, so it looks kiddized to a degree. I like him though, or hope I will.

Always been curious about these 'Trial Plays'. Do you sign up for them? Do you get invited? If so, what criteria have to be fulfilled for one to receive an invite? Is it for industry insiders only? Do they get to bring the toys home?

Not sure why the front page post says those are the same hands as Victorion. Both the hands and feet in this set look to be new molds, specifically based on G1 Computron's combiner parts. Victorion's were quite different. Honestly, those new parts really swing things in Hasbro's version's favor in terms of which I like better. Neither set is perfect, and Hasbro's seemed to have less going for it, but now... a far tougher call.

Blaster's humanoid cassette bots and Soundwave's humanoid casette bots look different enough for me to get both. Only getting Soundwave, though. I also have to agree that Soundwave's headtitanmaster works scaringly well with Blaster's helmet.

    I was there last night.
It was awesome. They started with Wave 1 which is already out and then just kept on building up with more reveals. It was great to see the SDCC stuff - the only 2 we'll be getting though *pout*.

I was impressed with both Soundwave's, disappointed in Fort Max, although the SDCC one may alleviate some of my "Meh" over it.

Computron was a pleasant surprise. After thinking I'd be getting the Takara version I think I'm sold on the Hasbro one despite the colours after playing with it - loads of fun and taking a leaf out of Victorion's book with the custom feet and hands (NOT the same as Victorion's).

I've got hundreds of photos to sift through but will try to get some online sometime soon.

We didn't get any of the toys to take home sadly. They were all put away. There were freebies but I was so busy playing with toys I missed out so no idea what they were other than a highlighter.

These headswaps tho. If anyone wants to make a Opimus Primal out of sentinal's face, don't let your dreams be dreams.

Man, looking at the pic I feel like I want SDCC Sentinal Prime with the retail versions guns and head....

...and does this Alt Modes line not look like something that'll be warming shelves at TJ Maxx next year?

So is there no chance that Brainstorm will be available as a standalone figure?

Seems pretty unlikely, I can't imagine a retool to Brainstorm's degree would only be available as part of a convention exclusive, the general release is probably just part of a later Wave than what we've officially seen.

I just feel that red works for Frenzy and blue for Rumble. Red is a Crazy messed up angry color that works with the name Frenzy. Rumble is Rumble, with his hammers he'll shake things up. That's just how I see it.

Hasbro's Computron looks much nicer than in the promo pics. I'm tempted to pick it up just for that Strafe. Does anyone know if his shoulder guns can come off and be held in his hands?

That's the first time he's been seen in hand.

I've got Botcon Ramhorn and I can't see any physical differences it just feels like it's a matter of how good the tolerance is between the plastic and the metal bar. Grips well, you'll be fine, doesn't, then flop city. I await a third and fourth version of the mould shortly to see if it's QC Roulette or a improved part.

Max is available already through Robotkingdom

SDCC 2016 Exclusive Titans Return Titan Class Fortress Maximus. Preorder. Available in late July 2016.

I'm sure other far east sourcing sites will have him and the three pack available nearer and after the time. Look how easy it is to get previous year's sets:
