That's a really good point, I hadn't thought about that. The preds are pretty much fur-free and quite rough and textured looking in comparison. It will be interesting to see what they do with them....when and if they do.

Also, looks like you can leave the back piece of the beast mode (which forms the second gun) attached in robot mode if you wish to do so.

 

He sure does look great. I'm fairly okay with all the lines and cracks in alt mode because that's just how transformers are and I know its always been more obvious on realistic beast figures, but too bad about the big holes in front of his front cheetah shoulders. Themz an eye sore.

 

What the hell is up with Japanese scans/photos of magazines always being so damn small?! As if most people over there still have dial up and not freakishly fast connection.

 

Im so glad takara is doing beast wars, i needed time to get a new display cabinet for my masterpieces. I loved the sgow but hated the designs. I dont own any beast wars toys to this day.

 

This, im behind in my MP collecting. This gives me a breather for a bit to try and catch up.

It does look a little wonky in areas, but this is a good looking toy. Some people have expressed concern for the beast head/bot chest conversion, but to me it looks like the beast head just folds up inside the body and the chest is a separate panel.

This also makes me feel like the next BW MP we will get is Tigatron. Hopefully a slight remold.

 

Also, has anybody else ever gotten an Alpha Trion vibe from Cheetor's crotch plate?

 

Hopefully a heavy remold. Tigers and cheetas aren't shaped alike.

 

Yah, I'm thinking that might be the case. They definitely have differing details, but the base mold would almost be silly not to use.

I wonder how far they will go with these Beast Wars guys...
