I know its only been like 2 or 3 weeks since the filming but anybody remember when we got some sort of teaser trailer for AOE OR DOTM.?

 

Super bowl unless they go the DOTM route and give us an announcement trailer around Christmas

 

End of the year or beginning of next year probably.

AoE's first trailer was on Super Bowl Sunday back in February 2014.

DotM's first one was...what, December 2010? I think? Maybe?

So our earliest possibility is the end of this year.

At the pace they're goin with reveals and stuff like that, I wouldn't be surprised if they release a teaser trailer by December. Kinda like they did with DOTM. If not then the Super Bowl is our best shot.

I have a feeling this film will be different. I think the first teaser will be more like Dotm. As in mostly cgi, not actual actors, and will probably be rather early, especially since they have been marketing the film Soo early on this time. So I'd say any month after August a possibility. I think it will be definitely before the super bowl.

 

Probably super bowl 51. Definitely a full trailer by then.

 

Be nice to get a Prime flying through space teaser some time soon! Y'know, just remind everyone what happened at the end!

 

AOE didn't release any footage until there was only four months left (super bowl). however i do think we will get one earlier this time

 

It's funny how with AOE we didn't get any footage until Feb 2014 with both the Super Bowl spot and the first Teaser in the same month! And the full Theatrical trailer 2/3 months later!

Though if I had to guess, really roughly, especially with how they're marketing TLK this early via viral marketing... ... I think TLK's filming would finish around November? So I reckon unless we wait until the Super Bowl again, I reckon an announcement type teaser around December. In front of Rogue One. Hmm ... ... That would be cool.

 

I think the teaser trailer will come out early next spring like AOE but with the early viral marketing for TLK it could be earlier than that.

 

I wish the term "teaser trailer" would go away. Let's just call them trailers.

The marketing team seems to be extremely competent this time around, So I'm thinking we may get a teaser trailer early. Possibly for suicide squad

TF is a lot like Star Wars: the audience is already built-in, so ads really don't seem to do much: you're either already in for these films, or not.

The last two films really didn't reveal much until 6-9 months before release, and I feel they'll do the same. My money is on Superbowl teaser.
