Agreed. Team Stark needed this so damn bad.

Mother of Dragons also kicked ass.

Makes me wonder with episode so big will the season finale not be as ........satisfying? Makes me wonder what the cliffhanger will be?

I don't know why but at the beginning with the dragons I was singing (with the imperial march melody from Star Wars) here comes the dragons to fuck you all up. Here comes the dragons you better all run!

I also kind of pictures the conversation to go something like
    Stannis: we have an army
John Snow: we have a (hulk) giant

Cliffhanger will be the verdict in Cersei's trial and Dany and crew taking ship for Westeros.

Awesome episode. I thought it was going to to be 100% the battle for Winterfell. Glad they put some of the Mereen storyline in.

Never leave your dogs hungry for too long, they just might bite the hands that feed them.

Yep, he so deserved that. :lol

I can't remember the last time a character's death satisfied me that much.

    #fucktheboltons2016, you Freys are next.

Great episode, sad about the giant.

I think Ramsey scene should be more violent though lol

    Winterfell battle was utterly predictable

but the addition of the Mereen stuff at the beginning was nice

Yara: I'm pretty much down for whatever

    Daenerys: *smiles*

    one annoying thing:
No resolution between Snow and Sansa about the Vale's troops coming in to save them. She deliberately didn't tell him, and he was the fucking commander. I'm sure if he knew he had a bunch of reinforcements he'd have played it differently, lost fewer men. maybe not, the rickon taunt blinded him

Wow! Just WOW! This was like the Battle of Helms Deep in Lord of the Rings but MORE intense. The pile of dead bodies! The closeness of the combat at the end. It was the must brutal mosh pit ever. My favorite still moment was the shot of Jon Snow, Tormund, and the giant as they head towards the castle.

Grayworm cutting down the masters was pretty cool.

Perhaps she didn't want to tell him because he may have got the Vale's army killed too. Sansa knows Ramsey much better than Jon. She even says as much when discussing tactics. Sansa knew Ramsey was setting some sort of trap. Jon fell for it. Jon's impulsiveness forced his entire army to attack before they should have. All Ramsey had to do was send part of his army to stall the attack and then pick apart Jon's army from afar with bowmen's even at the expense of his own men. If Sansa didn't hold back the Vale army, they too probably would have been massacred.

Great episode with the Battle of Winterfell. I hated seeing Rickon and the giant getting killed.

Omg, Ramsey... I am a weepy mess. :(

Is this how Stark fans feel all the time? I'm just glad Arya's days are numbered, and the last of that bloody house will be wiped from existence. I actually cheered when Rikkon died.

Though, this episode really fueled my JonxSansa ship. XD

Damn that was satisfying....man the Giant took some killing though.....Snow would have had a much harder time without him there.

I was delighted for that piece of shit Ramsey. I'm still shocked Rickon got killed too.

    Knights of the Vale.

Jon probably would have refused help with the strings that Littlefinger would bring along - and I think Sansa doesn't want to admit how far she's fallen into the role of manipulator just like him.

So it seems Rikon's whole plotline was a ...... Shaggydog story.

I must have missed something somewhere did Sansa even know for sure that army was coming? I mean they were almost a little too late.

    Rickon is sort of stupid.

I feel like, once he was a certain distance away from Ramsey, it would actually benefit him to turn around, so he can see the arrows coming. I mean, I know the it was written that way so Rickon could die, but...

Anyway, I wasn't so much sad that Rickon died, but I was sad for Jon and Sansa. It's hard to feel bad for Rickon when he was nothing but a plot device, here.

Not too shocking since he was kind of "the load" compared to his siblings.

I think John was a bit of a chump.

Did Sansa know there a chance Littlefinger was like an hour behind them? Seems like one Raven saying "we are almost there" and they could have waited to start the battle.

The Blackfish's men and Lady Brean will be arriving later to help repopulate the castle then? Perhaps protect it from what is coming.

BTW - Wouldn't it have been awesome if the White Walker king walked in at the end of the episode, waved a hand, and raised the dead of both armies?
