I can probably find it at Hastings when I go back to my hometown next month. They always have all this Bat stuff that never sells, and whenever I go in they thank me for clearing out their store XD
Man, long after the line died, I actually saw the Walgreens exclusive Multiverse 3.75" Knightfall Batman and Catwoman today at two different stores. Not worth $11.99, though.
They aren't. Everything that Diamond distributes (like DCC figures) is always announced the previous Wednesday. All that is hitting this week is the Mad Love two-pack. Apparently Joker isn't metallic anymore in it and the figures come with zero accessories. Extremely disappointed in it. Zatanna, Ras and Gordon did just get released in Hong Kong, though, so probably another week or two until they hit here?
Damn this thread died lol. Anyway, I've been on a Batman binge the past month. Managed to get a complete set of Snyder and Capullo's run, got one of the old DC Direct BTAS Batman statues for $160, and used an eBay coupon to grab the new DCC BTAS Ra's, Gordon, Mad Hatter, Harley, and the Phantasm 2 pack. Only need Zatanna.
Oh, Gordon and Ra's are out already? I'll have to look up pics. EDIT: And in doing so, saw that laughable TAS Batman expressions/cape set. Aside from making all previous TAS Batmen feel totally trivial and pointless now by including literally every previous accessory, one of the mains draws is a gigantic spread cape which to me is rather wasted on a figure with such limited articulation. I assume it's to replicate grappling poses but the figure can't bring it's arms together over it's head like the TV show, and even putting the arms up I don't think it has the range to put them in line with the cape's edge.
My favorite part of the expressions pack is how Entertainment Earth swore up and down that it didn't include the figure and then raised the wholesale price to just shy of MSRP when they figured out that it does. That set is completely unsellable at the price it is now and there's no room to come down without taking a bath on it. I really like the BTAS line as a collector but what a clusterfuck it's been for me as a retailer...
I hope you do find one, but as of right now Hastings will be no more, but you probably knew about that.
Newest addition to the BTAS shelf is the DCD maquette. Awesome statue and I got it for a steal. If Joker was cheaper I'd go for him too but I'm never gonna find him for as good a price as I got this one.
I saw two TNBA Batmen on a peg at my LCS today that look to be part of a revision wave with the new plastic (no holes in the thighs). I didn't expect a new use of that mold until JLTAS Batman, so I'm not what to do about it.
So I got the new Capullo figures in yesterday except for Survival Batman who comes tomorrow. Endgame Joker sculpt is insane.
How is Wonder Woman? She's probably my favorite Capullo design after Bats, and I'm looking for just the right New 52 Wonder Woman figure for my desk.
Sculpt and paint wise I really like her, but the articulation is really not good. Maybe the worst figure of the line honestly. She looks good standing on the shelf though. Got Survival Batman today and he's probably second best in the line after Thrasher though. Sculpt and paint are great throughout, plus it's just a fun and unique design.
