The Unite Warriors box art has been consistently amazing.

He'd better, although maybe he's deliberately holding out. I hear he's pissed about the leaks from the Toy Show.

I don't think you can actually attach hands and feet to the KO ones though, I think they are missing the peg holes in the feet (of the individual bots).

I've never seen any of the Unite Warriors boxes in person, does the box art look that dark in person?

Not really. I think lighting certainly has an impact here. I've got Defensor, who is portrayed in night time, but there's enough "light" in the image where he isn't so dark. It was a thematic choice of a bunch of rescue and emergency response vehicles going out in night time.

Currently I don't own any UW sets so up to this point so I never paid any attention to their box art BUT these 2 are pretty awesome!

I wish Takara would hurry up and take my damn money for UW Bruticus & Computron so I can stop salivating over their pics.

That is a great hover tank alt mode you came up with. I have UW Compy on pre-order but I am considering the Hasbro set as well. Should I double dip, I am going to use your alt mode for Hasbro's Scattershot 2.0! I am going to rename him Beta-Max and for Computron I will either go with Betatron or Technotron. The Hasbro set isn't as awesome as the UW but double dipping would give me 12 figures if you count Scrounge and his Targetmaster. Technobots are some of my all time favorite Transformers and I am sure I can come up with some cool names for the Hasbro set. I also have modification ideas like putting a feminine head on the Hasbro Afterburner, making it a sister-bot of the UW version or TF Prime inspired Arcee. Can't go wrong with extra figures!

Man, I can't wait. Those UW boxes are sweet, I love my Defensor box.

I really wish I could get a second set of the Strafe and Nosecone molds so I can repaint them as Top Spin and Twin Twist. I'm not paying an extra $135 just so I can make customs of two figures.

What I really wish is that TT would do it themselves...those molds would work perfectly as those two guys, just as the photoshops that were done a while back show.

They are missing the peg holes. You'd have to drill and mod them. Unless they did another run where they added them, which is doubtful.

To the person who did these Digibashes, please get these in front of Takara or Hasbro:

I'd be all up ons if Takara made those Topspin and Twintwist digibashes a reality, they'd be well worthy (and dare I say better?) replacements for Mech Ideas Apex and Geminus.

That might mean they will end up being headmasters...

That almost definitely means they're gonna be Headmasters. Which is cool, IMO.

So long as they end up as G1 based accurate as most of the other TR figures...I'll be ready to buy when they and likely Takara presents theirs. Hopefully Hasbro gets the colors right and I won't have to spend the extra money...either way, they will be mine. I was just hoping for Combiners so that I could have them on Sky Lynx or someone else...but Headmasters wouldn't be objected to...

But one question and the end of my off topic...ness....

    Where the hell is Kickback?

Yeah it can be done, just that you'd have to drill the hole yourself at the risk of damaging the figure. It can be done though.

This is how it comes stock:

    That's what I'm saying.

I've even thought about Brainstorm, Highbrow, Hardhead and Chromedome as Sky Reign limbs...after all, they weren't originally headmasters either until they popped their heads off on the cartoon.
