The picture was released on Michael Bay's site stating that it's Barricade. Looks like enough proof for me.

Dammit nelson lol o well good news either way. Now the speculation as to what robot mode looks like...or is it like bee and they just change the car parts but keep robot the same. Either way it's still a sweet ass looking mustang and can't wait to pick up the toy figure!!

 

I'd assume it'll be the Barricade model, but with updated car parts. That would be the most cost effective way to do it.

 

That would be the way I WANT them to do it. I loved Barricade's design, no need to totally change it.

 

So this will be the second time they filmed in Arizona. The first was when the Sam and the Autobots walked out of the Smithsonian into the Tucson desert. Wait what? How? Why?

 

Desert, highway in the desert? That's something we haven't seen before. You know, I quit paying to go see the Marvel movies. It's saturated. I'm about there with Transformers. A reboot would be better than continuing.

I live 5 mins away from this lol went out today looks like they are setting up for something big. I spotted flood lights so may be night shoot too. I can even see some of it from my balcony hahah!

I'm still waiting for the day a TF movie films near my town. Maybe someday, but I doubt it. The roads around here are kinda crappy.

 

Arizona filming

As do I. I wonder what Barricade's bot mode looks like now, and I also wonder who the new Decepticons are and their bot modes. Curious to see the concept art leak soon. . .

 

OMG, living in Chicago during the filming of TF:DotM was SO INSANELY AWESOME. It still KILLS ME that I missed out on all the Chicago action for TF:AoE because I was out of town.

Oh, well.

Still hoping to catch up with some of the filming in Michigan and wherever else this time around!

 

I used to live in Glendale and moved to Prescott before I came back to St. Louis. Omg if they came to St. Louis I'd cry in happiness!

 

From what I know, they will be filming in Arizona for the next week and then on to Michigan for a month to month and a half. Will be filming in downtown Detroit again, Bay said he wanted to shoot at the old train station again and will spend a lot of time at the Michigan Motion Picture Studio. Of which all 7 sound stages inside and around the studio outside will be used. Will be only one of a handful of times that a movie has utilized all 7 sound stages for production of a movie. After Michigan, they are supposed to travel to Scotland and Ireland for filming. And I'm sure a bunch of smaller blue/green screen shooting will take place back in LA like Bay always does toward the end of production.
