It kinda looks like MB is KOing Wukong's, not the original Warbotrons, so I'd guess after WuKong's Nonslaught.

While I've already got my four limbs, has anyone else noticed the prices going up on these? Or is it just me?

Can someone with a Blast-off do me a favor? The knee-slider is really loose on my MB copy, so if someone could take some pictures of the leg assembly taken apart to see what mine is missing that would be super cool.

Thanks, this helps a lot. So your knee-slider/platform locks in tight and doesn't flop around at all?

Sorry for the wait but here is the mod I did for MB Brawl.

I took the shoulder and elbow joint assembly from DOTM Tailpipe (any one have one for sale I need another) and replaced the stock shoulder with it. It was not a perfect fit, the pin used by MB is much smaller than that of Tailpipe. If I used the pin from MB the shoulder was way too loose, so I took a drill bit (cannot remember the size right now) and increased the hole size so the in from Tailpipe fit and presto much better shoulder.

And you can even keep the original look of the figure if you please

    And he is completely transformable

Let me know what you guys think.

Any chance you can post a pic showing exactly what part you use off of the donor bot? Also, is there a trick to getting the screw covers off the shoulders?

I just bought another Tailpipe and i will do a full tutorial soon when i mod my Warbotron version. I used the forearm, just pop off the fist and the elbow joint, there is a ball joint that goes from the forearm and the bicep and the hinge joint that is part of the bicep. You need to use a punch to get the parts to come apart. As for taking off the screw covers use a utility knife to start lifting off the cover from the back side of the cover. The cover in the back came off easy just need to lift and it will come off, as for the front covers MB was "kind enough" to put a dab of glue on the cover to make sure they don't come off, again just start lifting the cover from the back side and pray the plastic does not snap.

I got my Brawl and Swindle today, and they are very solid! All the joints are tight, and they mostly peg together correctly (Swindle's legs don't quite sit flush in alt mode). My Brawl is also incapable of using the turret as a shield, but the treads do fold down all the way. His feet are kind of weird, but that's mostly a design problem.

Can't wait to get Blast off and Vortex!

Getting my Wukong Blast-Off tonight, I am quite excited to see how it turns out. The price is nice... MB does it better but those colors are not my thing. Also, I might've bought the original WB-01 eventually but the QC issues really held me back (my GT Devy is awesome though, go GT). Will post my findings later :)

Is there any way to contact Machine Boy and ask if these will be done in G1 colors?

made a rotorstorm out of a spare vortex, loving this mold so far. No stress marks, no overly tight joints, great articulation, and on top of that vortex just looks cool I dont even mind that he is blue. Best experience with a tf toy in a while.

P.s. also wonder if the blue and red was a reference to his RID color scheme.
