If it is Hound, hopefully we see him transform on screen in TLK -- along with all other transformers.
Whats worse is for new fans the movie verse is all they know, so they find this acceptable. Whats even worse is when I look aspects of Transformers with Google, movie verse stuff comes up first. It's a worse fate than what happened to Gijoe. Erased from history.
Hang on there, Chicken Little. We still have the Prime Wars figures coming, plus more MP's, so the movie lines are just another phase. They'll be out for a while, but will eventually fade to the background like they always do. The added revenue is a good thing, whether you appreciate the movie-verse or not. I've drifted away from it (more like can't stand the films anymore), but still understand that it's some people's G1 and accept that it's part of the franchise as a whole. Heck, I loathe the A/E C trilogy, but can't bring myself to insult it at every turn because to someone out there, it's what brought them in.
It's a combination I think....Casual moviegoers who just enjoy popcorn flicks won't bother coming here while others that are interested in TF lore will visit random sites to inquire. I'm confident that many of those will see the bigger picture of TF lore and get hooked on to some of it's many lines whether its the IDW comics, G1 cartoons or BeastWars. I honestly can't see them being too focused on Bay's crap Because Bay doesn't really give them anything to discuss long term.
I'm quite aware of the "necessary evil" the movies is basically regarded as. Just haven't prepared myself for the 24/7 round the clock news coverage these films bring with them. I'll get over it...
Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm kind of steeling myself against the onslaught of tiny hints that lead to massive debates that'll flood the forums to the point of being choking. I'll go from ignoring 3P and comics stuff to ignoring 3P, comics and movie news. Doesn't leave much to look forward to, but there's still fun to be had. Titans Returns, the third installment, MP's...
Agreed on all counts. And IMO, the idea of Hound getting stuck as a field medic not only is character development for once, but has the potential to be comedic gold. I suspect that's exactly what this is about if it does turn out to be Hound. There probably will be some 4th wall breaking joke about it as well.
A medic with killing stamps? Whether it's fan-made or not, it has Michael Bay written all over it. Long gone are the days where medical officers had to learn to become warriors.

Wow nice find. Picture #14 looks very reminiscent of the Ark entrance in G1. Curious who the "A" emblemized military transport is in the film.
Really, I liked Hound as well. I have my problems with a lot of movie Autobots, but I get the impression that with Hound, the craziness was intentional.
The Con kill markers on his door are pretty reminiscent of WW2 flying aces with rising sun markers on the fuselage of their planes. My guess is this is Hound, though I wouldn't mind it being a revived Ratchet.
Yo is that cade drivin that jeep or just some movie_worker guy. That jeep looks badass btw.....a sweet G1 Hound look to it
