Tonight i finally got around to putting all the figures into combined mode. As I was moving unearth, the arm pulled right out of devastator. Turns out I had a defective combiner port. There's a screw that holds a spring in place for the shoulder's ratchet. Well the screw hole was stripped so the screw can't stay in. When it came off, the screw and spring went flying, as did a piece of plastic - that plastic piece cannot be found anywhere in my room.

    That really sucks, Darkprime.

I have to wait until next week to get two more guys from the set. I kind of want to get Burden and Allocater, partly to make an armless Devy, partly because I like Long Haul and Hook better than Scavenger and Bonecrusher, and partly because the boxes are on display and I want Burden's to place between Shovel and Concrete's. Kind of thinking I should get Unearth and Bulldozer and wait another month on Allocater and Burden, though, to give some time for ToyWorld to fix Burden.

Those look fantastic! I also used your videos to transform Long Haul and Hook. Nice job and thanks. Used Bobby Skullface's for the rest. I usually like to figure 'em out on my own, but I didn't want a $600 investment to go down the shitter considering the potential issues, and I didn't want to test how good the instructions were. I've come to appreciate his reviews, but man, is he rough on his figures! Bobby Meathands, perhaps? Anyhow, that was my last 7 hours...

They're kinda scary (mostly because of the reports...I'da felt comfortable had I not known any different.) My only issue was Mixmaster missing his right hand thumb. I really hope ToyerCity hooks me up...if not, I may be in need of your services. I also didn't get the purple barrel which was the whole reason I ordered from there as it was supposedly an overseas exclusive. Double hope they hook up there, too. Anyhow, I think I'd recommend them, but order from a shop you know will take care of you. My Long Haul so far isn't cracked, but I hope to figure out a way to get a hold of replacement parts if they're offered. In the meantime, I don't think I'll be transforming them anymore, which is a shame because the bot modes are really nice...especially if you TigerBlade your set. Did I mention his look fantastic?

Oh, and I did have to sand and lube the Scrapper combiner 'port'. I was doing a test fitting to figure out where I should sand and went a bit too far sliding him on in the process....and it's no joke. Shit gets good and stuck quick. I literally drew blood twice trying to remove the damn thing. Once on my finger grabbing a hold so tightly while trying to pry it back apart, and the second time when Scrapper finally came loose my arm shot up and the figure scraped my arm that was holding down the hip part firmly.

Don't forget all that lovely green on Bonecrusher and the purple legs on Mixmaster!

Thanks kibble. I'll check out the reviews. I wonder what the final long haul solution will be. I hope it's replacement parts. I'll check out the video's. Let me know if you end up needing that thumb and I'll get something drawn up.

Haha. I see you went through with the additions on Long Haul. I was actually the guy that suggested it on Facebook. The cab and smokestack being visible in botmode are pure G1 for Longhaul. BTW, What brand / color name is the green paint?

I did as much work as I could on the connector for Scraper. And I super glued longhauls cracked joints. So far they are all holing up fine. And Scraper disconnects without too much hassle. Man the combined mode sure is impressive though. When I was transforming them all I started thinking I was regretting this set. But I am very happy with it now.

    Cheers bud.

I'm glad it helped someone out, I did consider doing a video for the rest but at this point I don't think there's any point with so many others, there's enough info out there to get what you need. Agreed with Skullface though, it makes me cringe a bit seeing him man handle stuff. I normally go to Ben or Emgo for transformation guides if I need it.

Lol there's other bits dotted around too :)

Not sure. I want to but the green is a lighter shade and on that large expanse it won't blend in as much as the bits here and there on the individuals. Long Haul's shoulders are partsforming. His cab is TFC Scrapper's cab, the pipe is taken from a scrap part of Primus, both peg into the square portions that appear when his shoulders are in place.

Thank you for the push sir, I think he's now pretty much there. Just Bonecrusher to finish off now then I'll stop spamming the thread! Paint is a store own brand from a diy shop in the UK called B&Q, shade is called green apple but like I've said before it isn't exact, it's a bit lighter. It works for me though :)

Just transformed Allocator/Hook to bot mode for the first time, nothing as difficult/scary as some made it out to be, even extending the arms. The only thing that needed a little extra force was rotating one of the hands out.

You're lucky then. Loads have issues with his tight elbow extensions and wrist rotation.

Found the elbows easier if you move the wheels out the way then rotate the shoulder down and the first joint in the elbow then pull, or something like that. Had no problems with Burden's wheels, yet, either. Going by all the issues people have had I agree, I do seem to have been pretty lucky with this set.

My Hook is the same as Optimushed. No issues.
Also no problems with him standing without his third leg.

Longhaul on the other hand is needing some heels. Someone should make a horseshoe for that guy.

Could be one of those figures you just need to have the gist of, if you just try to extend the elbow out then I can see it being a bit scary.

Only issues I've had so far is MM drum not spinning, I hope to get the purple one so I'm not too fussed. The other is pretty major, my right combiner arms ratchet is massive screwed up out the box

Yeah, that looks a bit screwed, I'd certainly send that back for a replacement.
