Received my first shipment of ML figures yesterday (BBTS order) which included the legion builder silver knight, orc and skeleton...ALL looked wonderful in package...I have only had a chance to open the silver knight and the first thing you will notice is that the waist ball joint is really loose...

Not that it will fall off if you turn him upside down but loose enough that with little force he comes apart...but I have found a fix...cut a square piece of black electrical tape off a standard width roll and stick it over the top of the waist ball joint and flatten it down around all sides of the ball joint...then press the torso on over it...this seems to give a near perfect tolerance...

If all figures are this way I guess its better than being too tight from the factory and causing breakage...at least this way we can tighten the joint ourselves...other than that the figure is awesome...

I have also made some more progress on my custom throne...a little more painting needs to be done then I'll post some pictures...

Last night I opened the orc legion builder and the waist joint was perfect...so it must be just the silver knights that have the loose waist...

No, my Gorgo has the same loose-ish waist joint. It seems to be a mixed bag. My Gorgo has the easily popped off waist, but my Otho and Carpathias take what seems like a normal amount of force to pop the waist.

Also, Otho is fantastic. My fave of the three hands down. We'll see once I get Atilla, Attlus, Blood Knight, and Malleus if that still stands.

I gotta say, my patience is wearing a bit thin with the shipments. I have my worries now if there are any problems shipping to Singapore.

Opened up my other legion orc and my lone legion skeleton this weekend and both had perfect waist joints...the orc I had to heat one of his knees with a hair dryer to help it move...

Now the skeleton needed heating on just about every joint...his shoulder, elbow and knee joints were VERY tight...so caution to you guys and use a heating method first (hair dryer or warm water)...there has been reports of breakage on the FH forums from forced tight joints...

Out of curiosity (newb here), I preordered their blood knight figure before it sold-out, was there an ETA on this figure? Thanks in advance.

Ok, I'm new to the whole kickstarter thing but very curious about these. A few questions:

    1. Why are all the 4H figures so insanely limited? I get that they would want to test the waters a couple times out, but c'mon, at this point the Four Horsemen are very well known. They should be cranking these out, but instead they stick to the backer orders plus a small amount for the store? Doesn't seem a good business decision to me (or am I wrong, and they will make other runs later? The recent BBTS situation with the birds makes this a possibility). I missed the 1.0 set window, so if this doesn't happen, I'll never have a complete collection unless I want to dig deep and pay ridiculous after market prices. For a fan centered company like the FH this doesn't seem right.

    2. Are the packages collector friendly or do you have to destroy them getting out? Heard there was package art? On the back?

    3. How bad is the QC overall across all their non-MOTUC lines? The broken head pegs and loose joints I've read about make me a little torn on buying.

    4. Does the store have something like an email notice you can sign up for out of stock/preorders?--or even a newsletter?

    5. Did I hear the word Dragons??? I can live without a troll. But a dragon? I will have to buy that.

and 6. For anyone at Power-Con this weekend, how is the supply of the exclusives looking? Nearing sellout or will there be leftovers (and if so, what will happen to them?). Speaking of dragons, I'd love a Greenamyr ;)

FH do listen to their fans much more so than most other company's...I've been following their facebook page now for over a year and they are very prompt on addressing any issues and keeping us updated on releases and production...I think the main reason they use kickstarters and limited store orders afterwards is to keep value on their products and NOT overproduce...BBTS currently has some of them for sale and last I checked some of the ebay pricing wasn't that bad if you're cherry picking from the line...

    2. Are the packages collector friendly or do you have to destroy them getting out? Heard there was package art? On the back?

The packaging is awesome...the card back is held in the shell via folds on the edges of the plastic and can be easily slid out...no tape, staples or hole punches...the only downside I see to this is someone could sell a figure and claim it to be MOSC when it could have been opened/handled and replaced without knowing...

    3. How bad is the QC overall across all their non-MOTUC lines? The broken head pegs and loose joints I've read about make me a little torn on buying.

I've personally handled five of the mythic legions so far and can say a hairdryer is your best friend with these things...I always use gentle force with them fresh out of the package and if any joint is remotely tight I'll use the dryer on it for about 20 seconds and then all is good...basically I think some joints get stuck because of the paint not being 100% dry during assembly...and speaking of paint it is definitely top notch...I know on some of FH's earlier lines (seventh kingdom) the paint was prone to chipping on some figures (elephant) but now they have it dialed in to a very durable finish...

    4. Does the store have something like an email notice you can sign up for out of stock/preorders?--or even a newsletter?

The only way you can be onboard with email updates is if you were in on the kickstarter...I sadly missed the first ML kickstarter so I just periodically check the facebook page as they post the same updates there...

    5. Did I hear the word Dragons??? I can live without a troll. But a dragon? I will have to buy that.

That is the exciting part...as the mythic legions demand grows there's no telling what FH is planning to add to the ML universe...last word I've heard is possibly a cart that doubles as a battering ram, some ruined wall background props and maybe even a castle...

and 6. For anyone at Power-Con this weekend, how is the supply of the exclusives looking? Nearing sellout or will there be leftovers (and if so, what will happen to them?). Speaking of dragons, I'd love a Greenamyr ;)

No Power-Con here...but there will be ML 1.5 figures going up on store horsemen in the future along with some of the legion builder figures from 1.0 (silver knight, skeleton, orc, silver dwarf)...

Yeah, if you're looking to fill in some figures of guys that are sold out, hawk ebay. Now that more and more people are getting their toys, more are going up. If you get lucky you can find some decent deals.

Last night I got an Orn Steelhide at $55.00 and $5.00 shipping. Totally reasonable for him being sold out. I'm on the hunt for a not $130.00 Sir Ignatiuos.

I still do not see the reasoning behind his popularity...everyone claims his colors are great but that purple imo just doesn't work... :thumbdown

I didn't think so either, but something about that pearl and gold with purple accents just hits my buttons. It's very Draenei.

Luckily, he's part of 1.5 which should still have an open preorder mid-late summer. I too am hoping to procure 3 of the 4 1.5 guys.

Where is there an open pre-order for 1.5? I could only find some accessory packs not sold out. But I did see some sale prices on the SO pre-orders so maybe that's a good sign?

How is the shipping by the way? Well packaged? Hopefully not DR prices.

Not yet...open orders for 1.5 (limited quantities) will be later this summer...if memory serves me correct my last two orders ( (10) figures then (4) figures ) cost me $25 and $15 shipping respectively...packing has always been great...
