The pics are from AOE. Bee was still using his radio to speak thru. He only spoke at the end of the first movie. Of course, that could get retconned like everything else in Bayverse.

 

He hasn't technically spoken, but his patchwork radio language gets more and more like regular full phrase english with every movie.

 

No. Now he only speaks via British radio.

 

UUUUUGH. Now Bumblebee's Hasbro's new 'he's in everything' guy. First it was Shockwave in TF3, WFC and Prime. Then it was Grimlock in FOC, TF4 and RID2015. It was almost Drift too in TF4 and RID, but not quite. Now it's Bumblebee in RID and TF5.

Yeah he's been around forever, but its only recently that they've been giving him a lot more focus. I wish that they wouldn't decide to start milking a character randomly and instead have different shows focus on different characters.

I may not have explained it right, but I'm sure someone else gets what I mean.

 

Oh yaaaaay, just what I always wanted: more Bumblebee.

I seriously don't even know what kids see in Bumblebee. He's got no personality (except for "angsty teenager", and even that is primarily just in AoE - granted, I liked him in AoE, but he didn't come across as a kid appeal character in that movie), no voice, a face like a bum... And kids love him more than any other character? Do children have no standards these days? There are so many better characters, even in the movies, but they cling to Bumblebee just because he's promoted the most?

I love G1 Bumblebee but movie Bumblebee needs to sod off. Or, you know, relegated to a role like the one he had in Age of Extinction, where I actually enjoyed him for the most part.

Whilst I understand what you mean, Bumblebee has been forced into the spotlight since the very first movie almost ten years ago, and he's been in the spotlight ever since. Not just in the movies - he's been key to Prime and RID, he's easily had more toys than even Optimus Prime has had in recent years (even if half of them are just repaints), and he's always the character that Hasbro focuses on the most in regards to promotion.

At least RID Bumblebee is an actual character, though. That's a start. And he's a likeable character, which is even better.

 

Animated Bumblebee was nice, and RID Bumblebee's pretty good too. But yeah, AOE especially ruined him.

 

The cartoon characters were always better than the movie versions, they actually have a personality and do stuff that makes sense. But the main reason why RID Bumblebee is better is because he actually speaks and expresses him self instead of beeping.

 

It is bumblebee.

 

Hope Megatron rips him in half ...Or Prime take his face when he is evil  

 

It might have been a good thing bumblebee didn't talk. Who needs another autobot whiner, lol.

 

I want Nemesis prime to tear his new gold armor off then lockdowns dogs to feed on him until only his cognitive heart thing is left.

 

im actually really glad bee will be the knight. I like how he is becoming more of a warrior than a rookie, and kind of "grows" every movie. he looks like a knight, so why not be named one too!

That's ridiculous. It's clearly Erector's BIG screen debut. And it's not like Bay would be focusing any more story or screen time on that Bumblebee character...

 

How is everybody so certain that this is Bumblebee?
