wow can we stray as far away from transformers as possible?
they didn't even transform in the last movie...just pixels/mincraft blocks taking whatever shape they please...
whats with all the growling and snarling??????? megatron is supposed to be leader of an army not junkyard dogs....
i hope mr bay makes unicorn the worst transformer in his series and killes him off in the first 7minutes of the movie just to shut everyone up about every single movie needing to have him in it or be called rise of unicron...meh bland boring title anyway.
what it needs is canceled and rebooted with serious writers who have a love for the franchise...not a love of how much money the fanchise will get them.

 

I dont know why people try to explain it..This is a Bay movie he doesnt have to explain shit...He ll just call Galvatron Megatron and thats it  

 

It would be an even cooler twist if Megatron could stay dead and not "come back" for a fourth time. Because, fuuuuuck.

 

I guess Megatron will be resurrected as the Predator.

 

The Autobots must fight both Decepticon factions(that also fight eachother)and their own leader without destroying him,I just love this idea.It would be very interesting when the Creators eventually come because those guys seem to have a masterplan.

 

He literally looks at the screen basically and says "i am galvatron". Im confused though. Was he actually Megatron or they just copied his brain? And the real one is just the dead head? And that gets ressurected into this new guy? So there would be both? Cause if not then hes already alive didnt they retreat? Anyway, should be cool. I still hope optimus meets rodimus but probly wont happen....lol gonna be a long wait

 

He does call himself Galvatron in the Chinese factory(?). He says "I am Galvatron!" Around 1h 54min 30sec in the movie

I said it a million times, but no one listened or bothered to think it all the way through. Galvatron was never Megatron. He was a data backup of Megatron. There was no spark transfer, just a copy of memories.

 

Should be..."Predator will return"

 

Never got the memo, and finding it annoying that people only listen to what they believe is true here. But what you said sounds legit, and reminds me of Megaplex. So I will take that in mind if I ever see the last film and this one.  

 

Looks more like Ultron will return to me

 

I noticed a little late that he does indeed look like the predator. I wouldn't mind if his face plate/mouth opened up like the Predator's but mechanical and revealed some sharp teeth like he had in transformers prime. There might be a good reason why the Predator's mouth was like that due to evolution from generations of being on the hunt. Right.  

 

I can see how ya'll say he looks like ultron. Probably because of his dimples but everything else in the face looks and feels different to me. Maybe because it's a wider more of a rounded face megatron has in addition to his horns/tusk coming to a piont (which be cool if the horns were a weapon ). Time will tell though.

 

Where did you get this insecticon-like Long Haul is Megatron? Bay just show some face with line "Megatron will return".

Do you really think this is Megatron? I do not think so. Just another Baytrolling, like always before every Bayformers movie.

I guess if Galvatron is Megatron, he may just be reclaiming his name?

Alternatively, maybe Galvatron is a copy of Megatron effectively, and his own entity, while the original Megatron will be repaired and return?

Of course, trying to analyse Bay's Transformers films too far is an exercise in madness. It's not like there's a lot of continuity between the four existing ones. (Or even within a single film!)

Still, looking forward to the fifth installment.

If this was Megatronus, I'd be fine with the look. Even has a G2 vibe with the mandibles. But if this was just Megatron, than the sheer scope of my facepalm would dwarf a Red Giant. Than again, at this point, I'd ask what continuity these movies are supposed to be following.

 

You know, if they don't entirely miss the opportunity, this could be an interesting look into how Optimus has changed since DOTM. It could even lead to Megatron calling him out on some kinda dickish things (Like killing him at the end of DOTM), and maybe by the end we could have an awesome Optimus+Megatron V Whoever the hell fight. As much as the concept of reviving Megatron AGAIN is absolutely ridiculous, there is some potential here.

Buuuut...I'm not counting on it. Design looks neat enough, I guess.
