So for Longhaul, does that joint for the wheel need to be tight? Does it hold any weight or just a connecting piece? I'm tempted to pop the pin off and sand down the parts and lube it up if I have issues tomorrow when I get him in...maybe just be patient. TW will probably make replacement parts but it'll take a while for sure.

The only time it holds weight is in vehicle mode.
But it also has a little locking mechanism to hold it in place.

That may help, what you said, but it seems like a delicate process.

Having difficulty moving the shoulder ratchets?, Well seems like they've left access to the teeth so you can push them apart to make things much easier to move, there's even a nub on one in an awkward place so no more struggling and wearing those teeth out as quick.

You know what's worse than qc issues? Retailers not shipping your order because they are waiting on the purple bucket before letting it out.

Despite telling them twice that they can bundle the damn thing with another order.

RK rises their shipment prices and now they won't release my order. Damn!

Fwiw for those that want more green on their Bonecrusher arms, the replacement elbows you get for Scavenger are identical to Bonecrusher's, just green. They fit on nicely.

    No kidding! :mad

I get really good support from RK these days, but the purple drum delay is weird, Why don't they have it in yet?

I am tempted to email them asking WTF is going on, and weather they are waiting for this rumored fixed Allocator to come in first...

Lol. You're lucky I love this set enough to be accepting of your longhaul legs :)

Unfortunately, we all arrived in the wrong world...the perfect one is at the other end of the galaxy...called Cybertron :)  Jokes aside, ABS plastic materials are known to be durable but prone to breakage with force (as with anything). Yet it's light, flexible & easy to work with (assembly-wise). It's mainly the tolerances from steel pins being too tight. Besides, each of these are 70$ USD MSRP in Asia and $100-130 in N.A. (marked up due to import costs blah blah)-atleast it's not $150 or more. The set is released relatively fast compared to other combiners and has a good price-point. I can see them skimping on QC but for $100 bux what more can we ask? Expecting more is asking for disappointment. From what i gather TW has made vast improvements over the past. This set is great in terms of both engineering and design IMO. You just need to be mindful of frail areas. There are defects in all products - just be sure to inspect new products beforehand and report any defects immediately to retailers. Easy peasy. Although I must say, it does appear TW rushed Long Haul's release.

Button-cell batteries have been considered but not sufficient for my purpose. I plan to leave the lights running for entire evenings. Gonna stick with NiMH rechargeable batteries for longevity and to keep costs low. Nonetheless i appreciate your link.

Burden then. The one with the cracking/wheel problems..? It was mentioned previously in this thread somewhere.

I'll email them and see what they say.

You forgot to rotate down the Scavenger lat pieces. They really help fill out the torso. Everyone forgets them.
