Hesitant? No. I just plain won't be getting him unless a KO comes out at a more reasonable price. I can't afford to spend $500-$600 on a combiner (well I guess I could: it would just take a few months of devoting almost all of my and my wife's recreation budget). If the set gets KO'd for <$200 with quality comparable to Jinboa's Rex or better, I'll be all over that.

I really like the proportions of the combined mode.

Seeing people talk of ko's of this set when it's not even seen its first bot released makes me sad.
    I'll be buying the originals.

I wish the colour scheme of Wildrider was more accurate to the source material (dark grey chest, blue and yellow chest squares etc.).

I actually thought edgecrusher's point was well stated. Obviously there are exceptions like the Wei Jiang stuff, but in general, everything he said is true. It doesn't look like there was any additional work put into the Bruticus KOs.

Besides, these combiners IMO are best enjoyed one figure every month or two. Yes you're still spending 5-600 but at 100 or so every so often it isn't really bad. People talking about it like they are buying the whole thing at once. Full sets happen but not for a long time.

Wildrider's Alt looks fantastic, but I don't care for bot mode at all (which is not really Transformission's fault—Wildrider's is, IMO, the weakest of Figueroa's stunticon designs). But Breakdown looks fantastic. That's really tempting.

I hope this works out. So many barriers broken with this guy, particularly the "motormaster/mp10 scale barrier" (with cab feet)
Overall it's just plain too much for me. Too big, too many pieces. But a feat in itself!

just saw peaughs review, they scale quite nicely with mp!

Nice to see they scale perfectly with MP carbots. I feel like Generation Toy Jazz fits the aesthetic of this Stunticons, even though it ooks like it will stand a bit shorter.

Wouldn't we have to see them in alt modes and then also do a little measuring and math to know if they scale well? The bots modes do size well with each other, though.

Per the dimensions mentioned on BBTS, in Generation Toy Jazz will stand a bit shorter than MP Prowl and the other Datsun carbots including Bluestreak.

Considering the official Masterpiece line doesn't maintain alt mode scale even between carbot releases (let's ignore MP-10 and the seeker mode), I don't see why these guys should have to

Great video review. Looks like he is going to be just right to do some versus the Autobot mp cars.

And in car mode he looks absolutely beautiful. Just need some color in the rear of the car ferrari. Maybe some kind of painted tail lights or something like that. Then he would be perfect.

    Disorder is bought on sight!

::cough:: As many of us recently learned, this particular model of car doesn't have taillights. :)

(they could certainly add a nice silvery hood though...)

Oh, it doesn't, now i know. Then I would like something back there not just all black. A silver bumper line would be nice.

I think my point may've been missed. I was passive aggressively pointing out a word misuse.

I'm sure this has been addressed to an extent. And don't get me wrong I like where most of this guy is going, but Why are MM and Dragstrip retro and the other three not? It's such an odd combination of cars.

Good thing you brought that up, I missed that discussion. I now know which ones I might prefer more. The modern cars especially the porshe and Ferrari.
