    Great pics.

I have spent the last hour or so getting Devy into the Ironman pose. It took some doing and isn't perfectly stable, but still looks great.

Some poses might not be stable but when put together he is sturdy

I keep getting close to pulling the trigger on these, but then I keep stopping myself. I don't know why since I'm a big Devy and G1 fan. Please someone, talk me into pulling the trigger.

Quick-thinking Graw. Looks better without those spooky eyes behind the visor. Alternatively, I wonder how it will look if the visor is frosted? It may diffuse the light and help light up the visor. I may give your mod a try..if the visor appears too dim i'll try the frosted visor instead.

Agreed... nice pix. It's almost overwhelming trying to absorb all this Devy greatness. Everyone here's been contributing one way or another..that's what makes this thread great ^_^

Speaking of mods, I decided to take on two other challenges: Combiner Leg mod and Purple Chest-plate. For the legs, I plan to improve its leg stability and aesthetics to match the Transformers: Devastation in-game design.

And the latter, I plan to install magnets for easy snap-on/off and thereby removing any extra kibble/pegs on Allocator and Scrapper. Oh yea, i've already created the canon slots by using a dremel. May add lighting and/or special FX parts to invoke the appearance of a firing canon.

Anyone here with the whole set notice that in combined mode, he leans slightly to his right side(Unearth)? I thought it might be his gun weighing down his right side a little more, but even without the gun, he still leans. Not super noticeable, but enough to erk the heck out of me. All connection ports are tight, arms are in same position on both sides, and legs positioned equally as well. Can anyone check and see how yours are? Thanks.

Wouldn't the angle of Shovel's arms cause leg mode to not be perpendicular to the ground?

Got Burden today. You'd think with all the neat little touches in his transformation they'd incorporated heel spurs into the feet....

Wait, was Allocator supposed to come with a visor for the Devy head? Was it in the bag of parts or on its own?

The visor is internal to the Devy head. It slides up and down.

I took chrome reprolabels and cut it to size and I think it is the perfect solution.

If you frost it, once it light up, you will still see the eyes, my mod sure dim the light a lot, but it also increases the reflection a lot without LED on.

This no twice before modifying Scrapper arms, I doubt it can still support the weight if it is at an angle.

    Oh awesome, thanks!

I'm still messing with individual bot modes, combining is going to be a Saturday project for me.

Couple of questions on Burden/Long Haul: there don't seem to be any heel spurs for balance, correct? He could use some for a little extra stability, imo. And do his shoulder hinges just stay up like that? They look a little thin on their own.

Still, I think I like Burden quite a bit. Better than Allocator, for certain. That face sculpt on Allocator is terrible.

I take back everything I complained about, which was only long haul by the way. I combined this guy tonight and I am blown away, this is a masterpiece devastator. He feels solid and is huge!! You just can't judge until in hand, it's really nice. I took issues with some figures like scrappers huge shins, but that all gets put aside in combined mode.

Massive and has good weight to it.

That's correct, his leg won't sit flat on the ground this way. But i originally wanted to create a block on that end to fix that issue. And thinking back on your concern about Devy leaning to towards Unearth... I think adding counter-weights like liquid cement (with ABS plastic), metal weights or sticky-tac might do the job. Just be sure to test it out..then place in an obscure area.

Hrmm.. good point. Now what if we try your idea -and- frost the (rear-facing) visor? Would the frost capture more light from the LED lamp above plus the reflective tape?

Scrapper's arm is my greatest concern. I figure the weakest area ,if i were to go through with the mod, would be his "elbow/bicep swivel" joint. Is that what you're referring to? If so, i gotta think of a way to re-enforce that area... *sigh. Any suggestions is welcome.

Do you find the visor lighting sufficient? (I'm assuming you followed Graw's mod)

No harm to give it a try if it is reversible:)
