Are we sure they mean that the first Hasbro Cinematic Universe movie is going to include all of G. I. Joe, Micronauts, ROM, Visionaries and M.A.S.K.?

Because the actual sentence in the story, "The first Hasbro Cinematic Universe movie featuring G. I. Joe, Micronauts, ROM, Visionaries and M.A.S.K will be out 2018/2019" could be read that way or it could be read as the first movie set in a universe that includes those five franchises will be released that year, and it will feature one of those franchises.

Was there additional clarification at the event? Because starting a combined universe with a crossover movie with properties that disparate is absolutely bonkers and will be a complete trainwreck. It's not that I would necessarily put that past Hasbro, but I still hold out a tiny bit of hope that they aren't that batcrap crazy.

 

I thought the same thing. I think the post worded it poorly and people have the impression theyre all going to be shoved into this movie. As you say, I dont think this is the case. Im pretty sure thats not what the guy meant to say.

Though we could both be totally wrong? Hasbro and Paramount really COULD be that stupid...

Haha! I just googled micronauts , i totally had that horse and the robot but they were grey and red, not white. Got it from my moms jobs holiday party one year. Goodtimes. The metal balls and them big rubber missiles
Visionaries an mask movies too oh sweet. The dolphin girl was super pretty lol

 

I am excited that they are pushing forward with the Hasbro Cinematic Universe. I just wonder which property they will launch with first. I hope it is ROM, Visionaries or MASK. I;ve not much of a connection to Micronauts.

However I really think whatever they do, they need more solid storytelling and less bang bang explosions. I really also hope they don't get Michael Bay. His style is nice for some movies but after 5 TF movies........ his style isn;t all that awesome anymore. Bring on JJ Abrams or someone akin to that style of storytelling.

Especially for ROM, so much character development and angst to be had with a guiy who gives up his "humanity" to be a robot saviour

 

I Seriously doubt all of those could be in one movie. That is a horrible idea.
