Definitely here! Living in rural England I am partial for a good 4x4 such as the Land Rover defender and such. My dad currently owns a Mitsubishi Shogun sport and she's feisty!
I do love cars such as the Golf and it's many GTI variants as my Dad also owns a Mk4 GTI. 6 speed manual, it can shift. One thing I'd say is a big no, no to horrifically modifying cars, as they do in Fast and Furious a bit. Cars like the supra etc aren't very attractive IMO.

Back to off-roaders, have you seen Group B rally cars? :rock

I also love classic American muscle cars such the 1969 Camaro and older Mustangs. I'd love to import one, one day.

We also need a thread for tractors and trucks!!! :)

Mega gear head here also, like every hour it seems like I'm scouring YT for all the latest news on my favorite cars and companies. I bought a '13 Camaro ZL1 in that year, and went and got a Hennessy package put on it the following year. Fantastic all around car and is surprisingly comfortable as an everyday driver. Then of course the absolute bloody power is always there to be tapped into. My wife and I just ordered a Tesla model 3 a month ago for the incoming baby. I'm kinda thinking about selling the Camaro and put the money towards the new ZL1 (what a damn monster it is), or try my hand with Lamborghini.

I don't know, owning a super car is/will always be a huge dream of mine, and now I've got the opportunity to... But I just love the "everydayness" and all arounder of the Camaro. First world problems right :lol ? Owning a Pagani Huayra and having my own shop is my life goal though. Just the thought of having a big and beautiful place where you can work on your vehicles, is just so simple and yet so satisfying, ya know?

I wouldn't say I'm a car NUT, but I've always liked cars and trucks and do follow what's new. I have a subscription to Car and Driver magazine and also subscribe to Motor Week's channel on YouTube. Check them out; they review new stuff and have a TON of cool, old reviews.

As for what I drive? I have a 2000 Chevy S10 LS truck as a secondary vehicle, but in the summer I drive a 2013 Honda Civic Si. I haven't done much to it, other than lowering it 2.5" with a set of KSport coilovers.

Just had it waxed last Thursday!

By the way, that's BaRRacuda! ;)  And good for you for being a Plymouth lover. I'm an American muscle car fan (own a 69 Plymouth Barracuda) all the way; my favorite car of all time is the 69 Dodge Charger and I'm a Mopar nut, especially between '67-71, but I think it might've been Transformers that helped forge my love for imports. Well, that and Gran Turismo; my favorite imports are the R34/R35 Skylines because of that game.

I was always interested in cars when a kid and how cool was it that my action figures turned into cars! I love the 280 FairladyZ and the Honda City Turbo and before I even knew what kind of vehicles they were, I just knew I loved my Transformers cars. It's probably the same for the Countach, C3 Corvette, Toyota Hi-Lux and the Lancia Stratos. It wasn't until the internet opened up and we found out the actual models used that I was able to put names to models.

Oh, and regarding my favorites? I like just about anything with style and/or muscle, but I'd have to say my favorite old/classic cars are GM stuff from the mid-to-late 70s. Oldsmobile Omegas, Chevy Malibus, Chevy Caprices, etc. etc. The earlier stuff is way overdone, and GM absolutely RUINED their cars in the very early 80's!

BUT, if we're gonna stick to Transformer-ish stuff, I LOVED the Lamborghini Countach as a kid. I never had Sideswipe or Sunstreaker but I thought they were some of the coolest early TFs.

My primary transportation is a 2014 Camaro V6 6-speed. Nothing really spectacular. My weekend ride, or my Hot Rod as I call it, is a 1996 Z28 with t-tops and a 6-speed.

Fun ride to go out and do donuts and stuff. :D  I'm only the third owner of this car and the previous guy kept it in the garage under a car cover. It's only got 70K miles and looks brand new inside and out.

I drive a black 2006 Toyota Tacoma with gold trim, dual exhaust Borla muffler system with cold-air intake. It's a V6, but can burn V8's off the line. I really only take it out when I go camping these days. Besides that, I usually drive my Mazda 3, which is great on gas.

Any Jeep fans in here? I have a 2003 liberty limited (black). Just put a new engine in after blowing the last one. I plan to make it offroad worthy, as well as customize to add a bull bar and lightbar in the front, whenever I have enough money.

You have not only 1 but 2 of the cars I really want, I envy you sir! Got any pics?

Couldn't find a clean 91-92 Formula with T-tops so save my life when I was looking. I settled and bought my GTA. Which I have been slowwwwly redoing. Needs a motor now though.

Looks sharp! I like those much better than the newer ones with those tiny "squinty" headlights.

Huh. I don't think I had ever heard of a GTA before. Trans Am or Firebird, sure, but not a GTA.

What does it stand for? Grand Trans Am?

It's a 2016 Grand Cherokee. The ones you're thinking of are the new Jeep Cherokee's. They're a bit smaller, less expensive. We looked at those too.

The GTA is the top of the line Trans Am you could get from 87-92 with 89 having the awesome turbo trans am model, basically a GTA in trim. Not sure 100%, I own one but I don't remember all the differences between a GTA and a standard TA. For sure it had:

    16x8 gold mesh crosslace rims
Metal badges instead of the normal decals
No brake cooling duct behind the front wheels

Ahhh, gotcha. I guess I didn't realize there were two "levels" of Cherokees. I like yours though. Good size and look, and I like that dark color.

That's cool. I wonder how I missed a car like that when I was a teenager? Probably not too common, I'm guessing!

The 89 Turbo Trans Am was the 20th Anniversary model The same model they used to pace the Indy 500. In fact it was the first car that didn't have to be modified to keep pace. The cars they sold that year had the same deco with the official Indy 500 pace car decals. They had the same turbo 3.8 v-6 from the Buick Gran National, but specially tuned. Offically rated at 250 bhp but when people had them dyno'd they would often put out in the 300 range. It was a hell of an engine, and could be easily modified for more power. It is believed that GM purposely lowered the power ratings because they could out perfom the Corvettes of that year, not something that GM would want commonly known...

I've loved cars all my life, well as far back as I can remember. Lamborghini were my childhood dream car, well the Countach specifically. Big draw for me when the Alternators/BT line came out.

I currently drive a '87 Toyota Celica. Bought for the gas mileage mainly though. My fun vehicle is a '91 GMC Syclone. Unfortunately, it needs a bunch of front suspension work along with a front half-shaft, and due to buying a house a year and a half ago, it's languished in my father-in-law's garage for the past couple years. If I didn't get hit with medical issues earlier this year, it'd be back on the road soon. Will probably have to wait until next year now.

Edit: to CKPrime: Ya, the 80s V8s were pretty abysmal. The GM Turbo V6s were the heart of some of the quickest cars from the 80s and into the 90s. All of them were rated lower though so the venerable Corvette could keep its top spot. The GNs, TTAs and GMC's Syclones and Typhoons were all underrated and when dyno'd typically pushed close to or more than 300hp.

Edit 2: an older pic of my "toy".

Yep, I knew all that. It still is basically a GTA n trim. Obviously engine is the main difference. Other than the turbo badges, you couldn't tell the difference if u didn't know anything about em. Fun facts though! They are to this day an underrated car IMO. Most everybody knows about the Grand National/GNX not a lotta people know about the 89 turbos. They hold there value, unlike a lotta 3rd gens but if I had one, I'd mod it up.

I forgot about the typhoon/cyclone! I bet those things move. I heard it's hard to get parts for em though.
