Ah, so it's the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. That's interesting. It's always just said "Gamestop" on there. Dang it. Got my hopes up and everyone else's. Seriously tho, they should be coming out real soon

 

That's still pretty cool, let me know how that is? I love Platinum Games, and even if I'm not mega into TMNT I absolutely loved Transformers Devastation so I might try this.

 

It's a decent game. I've only played a little so far. It is open environment, so it feels like you have a lot of freedom, but you really don't. Like when you are in the city, the game only has you go to certain sections. You can switch between turtles, but they don't make each one that special or individual. Otherwise, the moves are pretty good. The fighting in this one can get a little tiring.

I know I'm just getting impatient, but I was sure these two would be out by now. Optimus was practically done a long time ago, being an Ultra Magnus remold and retool.

 

At least you know they are wave 1. Takara hasn't even announced their PMOP/Ginrai yet. I don't know how long I'm going to have to wait. Could it be next year? Unknown...

 

they've only announced through September right? Since they do a wave a month I'd imagine they get too him before to long ~ they are only releasing 3-5 figures across all scales per month in Legends, its probably going to take them most of the rest of the year to get through wave 1 & 2.

 

Just so people know the spy tablet thing can fit in blasters chest. Now you have a reason to buy those things. Although it says Soundwave they can also fit in blaster.

A month later, and now 100% for sure, these are finally in. I've worked on Optimus a little bit so far, and as much as I'm afraid to say it, I think I like him a little bit more than Ultra Magnus. The base mode definitely looks bigger on the picture tho. It just feels kinda pushed for nostalgia, but it kinda works. I was hoping the ramps could go outward, cuz the shoulders block them completely, and it's kinda frustrating. Why would you have ramps you can't even use. But the turrets are cool and Apex fits perfectly inside as well as in the cab. Don't think it closes all the way tho. Now to try out Blaster.

Oh, a cool feature about Optimus is even tho they are blocked with plastic behind them, he does have two rear windows on the cab. Just thought that was pretty awesome

Edit: Blaster's transform can be kinda complicated, but I think his base mode has more going for it. Love the opening tape deck
