I'd be down as hell for the Godmasters, but do you think we'd get all of them or is it a Headmasters-esq situation where they'll just stick with the most 'prominent' one? If I were a betting man, my money would be on Lightfoot/Getaway but who knows. I guess in a similar vein I'd also put good money on an official Pointblank someday, but I feel the Targetmasters are a little ways off, even more so than the rest.

 

I think thought Super Ginrai was more likely because that was who was in the fan poll. I imaging if it were to happen they might include God Bomber, hard to say really.

 

Super Ginrai is equivalent to Star Saber. Victory Leo is equivalent to Godbomber. It is very unlikely God Ginrai would be done all at once. It would definitely set a new size and pricepoint and I don't think they want to go there. Godbomber is a much weaker character than Victory Leo (being Ginrai oddly enough), but I still think they wouldn't be willing to risk all that investment in one set.

I would really like the villains like Overlord and Scorponok and Deathsaurus as well. But we seem a long ways off from that.

 

Well, I think Optimus Prime could "share" his box with God Ginrai, and Takara could put Super Ginrai in robot mode and God Bomber in alternate mode in the packaging

Victory Leo must be compatible with Star Saber. I am confident they can find a merge mechanism

However, my spider sense says to me that Titan Returns Overlord (or whatever the line HasTak will release him) is the only way we could buy him and then, we can put him near our Masterpieces

 

I'm willing to bet that Yuki designed Victory Leo at the same time he did Star Saber. If combining them is a goal (and of course it is), he would have had to work out all those things at the outset. Just waiting for 2019 now.

I assume you mean Brainmaster and Hasbro's added Targetmaster. I feel like if we get a Targetmaster from Takara they'll do the wrist socket gimmick like in the show. I find Targetmasters among the less likely Masters but still possible. Maybe they'll do Pointblank or something and then give us Artfire. I do feel like they'll do Artfire AFTER they do Hauler unless Jazz get's made before that happens and then they MIGHT want to do both Stepper and Artfire close to each other (maybe not).

Seeing as Hasui had some design plans for a Devastator, I can easily see it.

 

Deathsaurus is more likely over Overlord, mainly since he's the same size (in fiction) to Star Saber……knowing Takara, we'll probably have to wait until the 30th Anniversary of Victory (3rd Parties would probably try soon enough)…….if we do get him some point in the future, I figure he'll have his 2 Breast Beasts/ Weapons, his Bow and Arrow (from Winged Lion Beast), Sword, Gun From Hell/ Living Metal Destroying Cannon that can be wielded in both Robot and Beast Mode, Toy Accurate Rifle, alternate Robot head missing Left Optic)

First off, I am not stupid, ignorant, or illiterate. I have been a fan of the franchise since 1984. I have been a fan of TakaraTomy's work since 2012. I was at a different fansite on 2013 when both their poll and poll results were announced. At both points, they made it clear that all characters with Super Modes would be chosen, which means no regular or fusion modes.

Plus, if you took the time looking at that site, you also have the time to look at the link I did submit and the character's TFwiki link. The former validates what I was saying. The latter shows that, much like Star Saber, Super Ginrai would need some form of tooling to become their fused forms. Both deemed minor, but are required.

Te end result is that they want to do the character's SUPER forms first. Because just like Victory Saber, God Ginrai is considered a GESTALT/COMBINATION/FUSION character. Hence why I had implied the correction because it was the same reason why I still question why they decided to not have Fortress be an option.

If you meant no offense, please clarify and please do not assume things about me. Because I had two others do this to me just because they wanted to be right. I refuse to have you be the third.

Powermaster Optimus Prime did not come with his Apex Armor until the 2003 'Commemorative Series' release. And, to be honest, I like the name "Apex" and hope that TakaraTomy uses it for the Headmaster head.   However, it's like I said in a previous speculation: They will possibly make both a Star Saber V2 to be compatible with Victory Leo, and "Victory Saber" would have components that allow buyers to form him as Victory Saber, and do it without the need for a Victory Leo.

This is based on the reviews that show how his feet cannot be altered when it comes to the combined form. And there is also no 3P offering add-ons to have Star Saber become Victory Saber.

As for God Ginrai, they will probably do Super Ginrai first. Then do a God Ginrai variant that includes the God Bomber add-ons. And if this leads to a demand for God Bomber, then they might make him and have it be compatible with Super Ginrai.

Oh, and an irony... I typed up "God Bomber" on TFwiki. The end result offered Spider-Man as an option to what I was looking for.  

Actually, he was designing Star Saber (V1) as a 30th Anniversary Masterpiece. And with there being three versions of Convoy in the line, he will probably have a second version be made for the sake of a Victory Leo. Which I also hope they do because I don't want to see them skip this for a Micron Legends (Armada) Convoy (who made second in that poll).  

 

Might be the bridges I am burning. Especially the one that has me no longer trust Amazon, the one where a last minute snipe made me lose out on a AFA graded rare Transformer, and the one where a non-topic subject that involces a non-member, about something that would piss off anybody with a moral compass.

There's no way there'll be a V2 Saber, the combining mech will already be built in. Pretty sure he had what look like diecast locking tabs in his feet (not owned him for ages so it's hazy).

Also don't rule out a third party Victory Leo.

 

Correct. Yuki designed Star Saber with extra ports, so if a MP Victory Leo was ever made, he could be combined with the current version of Star Saber.
He even stated this in an interview.

As much as I like LoudPedal, there's no way in hell I'm paying that kind of money for him. As I said in another thread, a different paint job does not warrant a $40.00 price increase, not for me. I'll wait until he goes on sale, more than likely around Black Friday. What a shame, he's a nice looking piece. Sorry TakTom, I'll pass.

 

I really need more Decepticons and the mold looks awesome in these colors but I don't think I can justify that price.

 

It's possible, but maybe not to the extent one might think going by Hasui's MP-10. Hasui said he designed MP-10 with Ultra Magnus in mind yet his trailer armor still didn't work out for whatever reason. Makes me think they don't work things out that far ahead with those types of bots.
