Is this rumored to be released before or after Carnifex?

We don't know yet. However, every major retailer has already opened up pre-orders for Carnifex but not yet for Kultur.

And it is very significant progress, after almost 2,5 years to be in development.

Didn't realize Kultur's mask had holes for eyes. That example you gave has giant holes in the mask for the eyes. With Kultur's small eyes, and the gap between the mask and his face, the holes won't allow a lot of light going in or out. But point conceded.

Nothing yet for Dicamus/Titanika, either. And strangely nothing for Jaegertron (or Cyclonus), even though there have been color versions of those since November. Going to be a busy fall for MMC, I guess.

just read issue 39. Tarn is doing the DJD's annual reviews and personal development plans. i get it, 'we will rise or fall by our administration,' but i never expected him to be a bureaucrat at all. he needs a Rung for that.

he yields an awful lot in this issue, to nickel, deathsaurus... its a little disturbing as far as character development. i guess #52 makes up for it.

Only a bad leader doesn't listen to those around him. Or did you expect Tarn to be a dictator?

He's a lifelong sidekick, I don't see why this is really that surprising. He's never, EVER the #1 head guy. Especially if his previous identity is the long-running fan theory. He's always second fiddle to a larger, bolder personality. His entire existence is about yielding the floor to the actions and ideology of another leader. Bending to strong wills is in his nature.

Although, as was pointed out above, it also makes him a better leader than a Megatron. He actually hears people out and takes advice.

Unless you're a king or dictator, you're always second fiddle to someone. This isn't directed at you personally, just in general. Just like there can only be "one" fastest man.

    Well said guys.

I actually like this a lot about him. And makes me wonder if doing what he did to Kaon will do something to him mentally sooner than later.

I dunno. Tarn uses drugs to compensate both personalities. Pretty classic sociopath.
Just opinion but Meg's conviction seemed genuine and self inspired whereas we know Tarns is adopted. We could argue it all day as a matter of perspective but I consider tarn a megaton imitator. Very interesting character but hes a fraction of the leader megation is imo.

I really hope they sort out his hands. They way they open as demonstrated in the youtube video is disappointing + he needs to have claws.

I believe Tarn being a weak sociopath is what makes him interesting. The same can be said about Overlord. They are flawed, violent and petulant beings, not supercool villains. That's why I like 'em and why I'm eager to shell out premium money for state-of-the-art representations of them :D

It's funny to see this circle around. Because when an earlier version/render of Kultur got out a year or more ago, people really hated the claws (among other design elements) it had.

Tarn is boring in the comics, heck MTMTE is boring now, but I still want this guy because he looks cool.

To be fair, Tarn didn't have claws at the time. Milne only recently added them to his character design in #50.

Anything would be better than Mittens, which is what we have now and what I've come to nickname this figure. :)
