The nails are clean so I don't see how hygiene is an issue. If anything in a scratching fight he would win.

This is a thing in Asian culture certainly in Hong Kong and China for some men to have outrageously long nails and I still don't know why.

 

Didn't realize the back of the tank was that hollow. Hasbro hollow   ok im done here. I tried lord knows i tried. Looks so solid though, quality looking piece. Heavy too. Anyone else concerned about those feet holding all that bot upright?

 

i like hasbro blitz except for the rubber face. heard the replacement head is bad too. double dealer was even cooler.

 

Hasbro blitzwing is a total turd.

 

He looks great in bot mode,but his scale just won't work for me. I knew he was big.....but wow. I don't remember Blitzwing towering over Optimus. He scales well with Tyrant,whom I passed on for scale purposes as well. He's just too big!

 

you want short nails when you play guitar. his nails are just long, not dirty, pretty sure its just a cultural thing.

 

I couldn't give two hoots about how long this blokes fingernails are.

That aside, I'm liking this figure although the tank mode something they could have done better on in terms of concealing the wings more. The wings are meant to hide the gap at the back

With KFC, it remains to be seen how good the quality is but I have to say that the tank mode on theirs is pretty good, but yet i like the jet and robot mode better on DX9.

Im pretty certain that KFC have concealed the wings underneath the tank

It's scaled for real life vehicles, but his point stands--Blitzwing was never shown to be taller than Optimus Prime, with the exception of IDW Comics.

chinese believe, that the longer your last finger, the more fortune or luck u have..well not everyone are born with longer pinkies, so its an act of compensation to keep a long pinkie nail..

for others, its for digging their ears *pukes*

on a side note..i guess this figure has a bulkier sturdier bot mode and more accurate jet mode..but the tank mode really really lets me down..

i know dx9 is know for quality..but looks wise..im just saying things from the pov of a tankformer lover..

u probably need an additional mod to turn it into a convincing Warhammer 40k Predator Mk1 tank by adding side sponsons as the tank itself looks more apc-ish than a main battle tank..or maybe an apc with a turret on top?

i've never seen one though..so i cant really fathom any closeness to real life tanks..radicons, maybe a predator tank custom mod for this guy to bring back the awesomeness of all three modes?

 

Its a shame we aint in love with that tank. Figure looks so so solid. And wher I'm from, long pinkie nails are for doing bumps of powdered dark energon

MP is scaled for bot mode, not alt modes.

Triple changers will never scale properly in alt mode regardless.

 

Keep waffling on this guy. I know it'll be a solid build but damn near every DX-9 I get (while really well built) ends up getting replaced by someone else because it's more G1.

The digibash over in the KFC one really looks pretty damn awesome.

It's ok to buy both right? (don't tell my wife).

 

Feel the same way. KFC should just outsource production to DX9.

 

I like DX9s updated designs more than G1...

 

That's me too. I just could not stand having my Blitzwing that big. Too bad because I really love the looks of this guy. And even though I love my Tyrant, and I really do, it's amazing, I wish it were smaller too.
