What would work best for these combinations?

For the team choices

Team one (Armada Decepticons)
-Cyclonus from Alpha Bravo (New head and missiles with minicon ports)
-Wheeljack from Dead End (New head and chest piece)
-Thrust from Skydive (Mostly use the Unite Warriors retooling)
-Oil Slick from Dead End (Streetwise tooling, New roof and Head based on armada Side Swipe.)

Team two (Upgraded Minicons)
-Dualor from Brawl (New turret parts and Head recommended)
-Drill Bit from Rook (Nosecone Retooling, New head recommended)
-Dune Runner or Kobushi from Rook (Swindle/Hound Retooling, Uses "Brawl" pretooled head)
-Ransack from Offroad (New head.)

Hmmm, Interesting. Is the blue shockwave supposed to be based on the Cybertron incarnation? I guess that would be interesting.

 

maybe...the blue shockwave was supposed to come out with the broown chested onslaught that never came out......

 

I actually like the upgraded Mini-Cons idea the best. That seems more in-character for everyone involved, as I don't think any of the Decepticons (Thrust especially) would be terribly thrilled about being limbs for Demolishor.

 

I say option A but replace Oil Slick with Sideways from a Deluxe Groove

 

Honestly, I'd do it like this:

*Thrust from Curse Thrust (unchanged)
*Cyclonus from Alpha Bravo (Retool head and maybe the rotors from UW Vortex)
*Wheeljack from Dead End (Retool head)
*Sideways from Groove (Retool head)
*Blackout from Shockwave (Repaint)

That's a nice variety of limbs.

 

Yeah, Also it can make a reference to that unused concept for the omnicons being upgraded minicons.

Well, to be honest the reason i left Armada Sideways cuz' i thought he'd work better as a "Heralds of Unicron" themed team. But i guess he could work great as an additional limb choice. As all they need is to make a combiner port/titan master hybrid port and use two titan masters.

Thinking about it... Oil Slick counts as a herald of unicron too... hmmm, it's kinda an odd thing. Though i like the idea of making Blackout out of Shockwave.

 

Number 1 sounds like a good idea.

 

Upgraded Mini-cons.

The upgraded Minicons can combine with Demolishor to form *insert combiner name* and also give *insert combiner name* even more power since Mini-cons give larger Transformers extra abilities or greatly increase his/her strength.

 

I would like an Armada combiner team, but I don't think Demolishor works as the center. If Demolishor will be the voyager, I think it'd be best for him to have the upgraded minicon team. (His minicon being upgraded to Shockwave repaint is an awesome idea)

Yeah, that's kinda why i brought up of the "upgraded minicons" idea, That way, the combiner itself would work better. Also i love the idea of minicons becoming autobots/decepticons.

I kinda also recall they could make Demolishor's combined form a homage to transtech's Demolishor considering that he was kinda huge. And "General Demolishor" does have a nice ring to it.

Sounds good. Call them The Armada. Their combination is... a Tidal Wave reference maybe? Tidalgod, Wave King, Demolition Wave? Or make it look like Megatron; Megalishor.
