As others have noted, the stacked energon cube accessory is the shiznit. I'd buy several if given the opportunity.

 

What's to explain?

They have the alt mode camera lens on the backpack, which is what allows them to color the toy properly in both modes, and the ”fake” on the front for bot mode looks.

What is his name? Opticlones? Reflectron? Reflecton? I'm confused... 

 

I love these, I love that they're packaged in alt. mode! Always makes the first transformation into robot a more fun reveal.

The toy was going to be called Reflectron, but was changed to Opticlones as a group name, the individuals are name Opti-1, Opti-2 and Opti-3 I believe, as they are a hive-mind intelligence and don't have individual personalities.

Does the bottom of the packaging say 2015, Keith's Fantasy Club? I always feel years should be reserved for tiny copyright information, not on show on the packaging as it can date a product really quickly.

my favorite of the MP-sized trio but i may need to paint the thighs as I wish they were a light-silvery-grey... either way, Ill be glad to toss my crappy custom OS KO versions

Ah. I bet you can see through it in bot mode, but it's likely am added bonus more than anything else.

 

Nice packaging. I love how all the 3rd parties have stepped it up with the packaging. FansToys is still simple, but mostly everybody is turning it up. Cool  

 

i always feel like box-lovers must have small collections ---
ive had to throw out boxes at least three times, and they just get thrown away.
if there was a non-boxed option, i would take it 100% of the time as long as it was mint and complete.

 

The packaging is very nice, but I am not sure I like the camera stuff on his back.

Anyway, although I love my Visualizers, I do think each set makes their own tradeoffs. Plenty of choice.

Truth. I was just rearranging a couple rooms and trudging through the utility closet last weekend, the boxes are by far the biggest nuisance I bring to this relationship. As big as your MP collection is, the boxes occupy 2.5 x that area. But any resale is instantly worth more! Argh

 

Well, if you chuck the boxes you'll have cheaper shipping costs if you end up selling   I wish MP style boxes were ugly, so I could have an excuse to dump them      

I'm thinking about throwing out the plastic/polystyrene inserts, and then flat packing the boxes away somewhere.
