Like... original characters? If so, then I agree. I wish FPJ's Warbot line would branch off and do just that.

I also like new spins like this on existing characters. The name Cross Dimension is definitely indicative of their own universe. I dig it. Keeps them out of the monthly 4 company same figure battle.

I like variety. As long as companies make cool stuff, I'm happy.

Thats sums it up perfectly. I have to give them credit for trying something different though.

Suppose if you don't want it as a Bumblebee... maybe he can get a Renderform head and be another one of the Bee-like Autobots?

As the resident Bumblebee fanatic, I wholeheartedly endorse this project.

I may be alone on this, but outside of this guy being yellow and having horns it doesn't resemble any variation of Bumblebee at all to me. If the toy turns out okay I can see myself purchasing it, unlike Striker Convoy.

I hear ya there. I'd love more new characters and not just repaints/ remolds of G1 homages.

I agree here too, but starting with characters that already have numerous iterations bugs me at least.

Overall I'm excited to see what happens with this line. Keep up the originality Maketoys!

They should stick to their G1 MP series... No interest in this one.

Well, here's how I look at it; since it's their own universe, design-style, etc. etc. it's not going to "fit" with other lines. If I was starting my own line around transformers characters, I'd make sure to start with the core characters like Prime, Bee, Megatron, Starscream, etc. before branching out because IMO I think fans are more likely to invest in a new TF line that guarantees the core characters over others.

A series of TFs without an Optimus is a lot more odd than one without saaaaaaaaay random Junkion #6. That's just how it is, regardless of how many Optimus Primes have been made previously. It'd be a different story if this was a line made specifically to compliment an existing one.

Those are two things that have been done to death. Much rather they do more combiners first, as they have a particular and somewhat unique style and experience doing that. Certainly more interesting than another Megatron.

I could still do with a good CHUG Seeker that was bigger than a Deluxe.

I hope that with a name like "Cross-Dimension" we get more than just GeeWun characters. God knows Beast Wars needs some love. We've had what? One or two 3rd party BW figure so far? I wouldn't mind a 3rd party Dinobot. Just sayin'.

Its just an augmented reality game right? This is not an actual figure they are planning on making, unless I am missing something.

Reading through the comments makes me feel like I'm the only one on board with this guy. Sure we've had a lot of Bumblebees, but this one looks pretty neat. Just hope the size is good. I'm very particular about how figures scale in my collection.

So far this whole Cross Dimensions thing has been looking fairly promising. Now that we've heard of Prime, Megs, and Bee, how about a Starscream? I think he'd look cool in this aesthetic.

Well my point being they showed those off and nothing has come of it yet.

Now they're showing off even more stuff/renders/ideas/mobile games (???)

The facebook lists the category as games/toys, so I assume there will be toys.

    Also gives this description:

So it looks like there will be real figures!

Yep. I'm surprised more groups haven't tried them. The MMC HOS Seekers were the perfect height

Crossing my fingers for a CHUG Point-blank.

I'm with you. I don't get the negative remarks others have posted. The Manga Mech line is my favorite but it makes sense to make just about any TF characters regardless of who has already done it. Give those who prefer your style/aesthetic over the other parties.

    Neat.

I like all kinds of designs. Not beholden to anything except that I want my toys to be cool toys. This Cross Dimension thing looks very promising. We'll have to wait to see how thee all come out, but so far all seems pretty cool.
