Has anyone found a place to store the normal swords in vehicle mode?

It's in the trailer, probably wrapped IIRC.

Went through the easier transformation so far of this guy, I think I've worked out all the quirks.

The biggest trick for truck mode is to make sure that the roof/sides bit [last TF bit] clears all sections; I usually get stuck on the fists blocking something, or stuck in a position that I have to unlock things to get to them.

If you leave them a bit to the sides [fingers facing INWARDS] and work the side pieces around them before locking any pieces it should all be fine.

For the trailer, I leave the rotating top section for last, closing the sides first and then rotating the top over them and working on the locking bits. If done the other way around [ie every other TF I've done with him] the gloves will get knocked off and rattle in the trailer due to little clearance.

Mine arrived and the pin thru the left hand/fingers missed the back side tab, and is cracking it off. Hopefully BBTS can take care of it, if not I'm confident MMC will, and am sure it's an isolated case. Odd that this last year alone, I've had 4 separate defects on toys from various companies that had to be (and were) made right - but they are the first real issues I've ever run across in decades of collecting.

That one defect aside, the rest of the figure is what I expect from MMC - simple/elegant in concept, but fiddly and somewhat uncooperative once all the tabs start locking together. Very strong plastic and good detail/paint apps (though all the white could use some weathering). I haven't unboxed the trailer yet but plan to shortly.

Every review I watch skips over how to stow the hands in truck mode, but I think the instructions don't show the right position from what I can glean from photos. Anyone else caught this, or know a trick to transforming them?

All said, this is definitely the figure I wanted, and it lives up to expectations. I got it with MMC Spartan as well, and am eager to pre-order Kultur when it becomes available. However, despite being a close second, MMC hasn't turned me away from the Maketoys camp just yet.

For the arms, you want the fists facing inwards [ie blue fingers in] and the forearms rotated so that the thin tab slots on the bottom of his feet.

You want the fists sliiiightly protruding outwards so that there's some wiggle room to pass the side panels by them in truck mode. I would recommend snapping the two back tabs first [on his legs] and then working the side tabs on before moving on to the three forward tabs on his cockpit section.

Hope that makes sense, let me know if not, can take some pics.

I cracked and ordered the core-bot.

I can justify it to myself in not crumbling all the way and getting the trailer.

If Carnifex doesn't drop in 2016, Seraph gets my vote for best head reveal. :D

So he only comes with one revolver? Aww! The early test-shot pics showed him with two guns. Oh well, still looks like a pretty decent set--can't wait to get him in-hand.

I will forever see his alt mode as a sneaker on wheels... THANKS EMGO!!!

I'm cool with that. With the amount of armor he wears I consider him to be more of an upclose and personal melee type of character and the revolver is just his back up needed to distract his opponents to close the gap while he charges them. Ala GGO Kirito style :D

Finally got the core bot opened up.

I LOVE this figure! The colors and design are amazing, the joints are tight, and the size is great. I'm glad I skipped the armor, as it seems the core is what I was subconsciously interested in the entire time. It's now one of my favorite figures. Well done once again, MMC!

The only downside is it doesn't come w/ the star saber or revolver. And the two clear swords don't want to fit in the hands very well

Anyone else having issues getting the wings to stay up when spread out? My left one is incapable of supporting its own weight. And it's not one of the connections that could be tightened by a screw.

For those disappointed that he only came with one gun, the pistols that come with Fansproject's Warbot Defender fit perfectly into his hands.

The revolver seems to have some similarities to Defender's pistols too.

Asymmetrical dual-wielding at its finest, I say.

That's a really good idea, thanks!

Also, anybody have the star saber they'd like to sell for a few bucks?

Oh! Hmmm I think you will be hard pressed to find someone willing to part with it... But good luck anyways.

I was looking to give him a larger rifle and thought the Dr. Wu Tri-barrel rifle in clear blue might work?

What does everyone think? I can't be 100% sure but from the pics the clear blue seems to match fairly well to Seraphicus's clear blue? Just can't decide if I will go with Gray or Black parts.
