    Agreed.

In my thinking.. Fort Max, being a city, is supposed to be 'uncohesive', there should be lots of mismatched 'stuff' on something that big... I guess the moral of the story is.. people have personal preferences, and there are two choices for whichever one catches someone's fancy.

I'll like the price on Hasbro's Maxxy a lot more!

I kind of hoped takara might have done something to allow the legs to fold up like his original base mode. still looks good though

Seeing all of those, most I can live with Hasbro's versions. Especially Fort Max since it will be the most economical option for him. However, I will probably opt for Takara's Wheelie. I like the single cohesive shade of orange over the two toned of Hasbro's.

I admit, I am a bit disappointed with Takara's LG30 "Mystery Character" being Wierdwolf. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's coming for those who want the Takara option but they way they marketed it as a "mystery character", I was hoping for maybe a surprise Takara only character like a TR Minverva or a HM Arcee.

That horrid Rewind is living proof that Takara isn't always superior, and it makes me laugh.

I think I also slightly prefer Hasbro's Fort Max colorwise though I do like the not grey fists on Takara's. Either way they're still not showing the two most important factors to me: Master Swords and Fortress head. If they lack those things then I'm just gonna stick with Hasbro or even wait for the SDCC version.
Blaster looks great and it does beat the hell out of Hasbro's.
Wheelie looks good; I have no preference in those
I might still go for TT's deluxe Headmasters but I'm not so sure I care a out the extra vehicle. I must admit while it's interesting seeing a Wierdwolf colored Apeface seeing that mold at Botcon as Apeface actually surprised me in how adorably well it works and hence this feels a bit shoehorned.

I'm not really that familiar with Fort Max, would this be good for an MP shelf?

Both Fort Maxes look great, I'll probably go Takara for the master sword though. Weirdwolf, there really isn't much between them, Hasbros yellow shins night just give it the edge. I'd rather have the actual Apeface titan master too so I won't miss that. Rewind is an easy win for Hasbro. Wheelie, again both look good but Takaras is nicer. Blaster is an easy win for Takara, the sheer expanse of nasty plain plastic on Hasbros one is a turn off. The blue tape eject button is a bit odd though.

Not really. The aesthetic is rather different. I feel Devastator worked as he was kind of show accurate but not completely, wheras this guy feels a bit more stylized and detailed.

I almost kind of prefer the Hasbro ones on here and its mostly for budgetary reasons. I mean outside of Rewind and Weirdwolf, I think they all look great but not enough that I need them over the Hasbro version.

Fort Max is a maybe BUT only if he has the Master Sword. No Sword, means I'll go Hasbro.

though I'm hoping SDCC pulls through.

I'm sorry for you boy, cause I use always official pics (also if are renders) to make comparisons of official products. I'd be happy to see what you could do, I'm sure would be better than mine :rolleyes2

Like the legs and arms better on TTomy Fort Max, but I like the upper body of Hasbro's better.

Also is Blaster's titan head Twincast on TTomy?

Takara's Max looks better to me, but if I had the choice, I might have gone Hasbro for the price difference. Since I don't have a choice, I guess I'll have to settle for the better but more expensive version.

Wheelie, I honestly have never wanted a figure of. But I want that Goshooter. Arrgh.

I love how their headmasters have full decos. However, their Rewind is missing the one thing that made me want TR Rewind - he looks like a mini-cassette recorder playing his G1 self. Cancelled my Takara pre-order, will try to grab an Hasbro at retail.

Wow, I know it's g1 accurate but Rewind looks weird with his face/optics painted like that after years of MTMTE. Pass there... Wheelie is kind of tempting but I think I prefer the paler orange and dark canopy. Weirdwolf I like Hasbro's better as well... I feel like they've stepped up their game this time around.

Deffo prefer that Blaster, and the Takara is still loads cheaper than a 3P or masterpiece.

Does Takara Weirdwolf have a different robot head to Hasbro's Wolfwire?

I keep trying to figure that out myself. I think it's just painted differently.
