Some types of tarantula, often mothers with eggs, form partnerships with small frogs. The frogs make for exceptional ant/pest-eaters, the main threat to a spider's eggs. In exchange for having their offspring protected from such menaces or not having to deal with ants in general, the tarantula protects the frog from its own enemies, such as snakes or other arthropods. This beneficial relationship is strong enough that a tarantula will even release the frog if it catches it, recognising it as an ally instead of a morsel (or maybe recognising the frog has toxins in its skin  )

Ophiocordyceps unilateralis is a type of fungus that infect ants. it breeds within the ant takes over the bug into the closes to a zombie. it doesn't eat other ants but it does send the zombie ant to tall plants and busts out, sending it's spores to the sky to infect other ants to repeat the process.

the pokémon Paras and Parasect are based on this fungi/insect relationship. when Paras evolves into Parasect, its eyes are completely white. the classic sign of a zombie with it's white eyes. it means the fungi has taken over the pokémon.
