Has anyone else seen generations onsalught in Sydney? I have the rest of the combaticons and I need him to finish him off.
Hi Australia Boardies. I'm going to be in Melbourne next week and wanted to know which are the good places to check out toys near the downtown area?
Well...this seems quiet... Uh...$50 AOE Leader Optimus and Grimlock at Hobbyco? Yeah, $50 AUSTRALIAN. They aren't selling so they slashed the price.
myer has started their toy sale and fort max was featured in the catalogue, I found two at my local tasmanian store so the should be around the mainland too. happy hunting.
I found two at my local store as well, but $400 is way too much. Here's to hoping Myers doesn't hold the exclusive rights to it like all the Platinum releases. Hopefully Target, Kmart or Big W will stock some. Or Toys R Us, at a decent price. Be gentle...please.
$250 at BIG W toy sale starts 16/6/16 (6 month layby) $269 Myer in store (6 month layby) or online: Transformers | Generations Fortress Maximus | Myer Online Available to order now. $223 at Mighty Ape / $5 postage - just ordered me one there. https://www.mightyape.com.au/product/Transformers-Generations-Fortress-Maximus/25249821
6 month Laybuy? Screw that! I'll pay it off with next week's pay! Hopefully they'll still be available on Friday. Now Big W's is the price I was looking for. So glad we're getting it ahead of America. Can't wait to review this sucker and populate him with my Legends class figures. Thank you good sir!
A new toy shop just opened in Chatswood Chase and they have the Blaster/Perceptor and Conehead Platinum sets for $100 each. Plenty of stock too.
Quite a bit of Age of Extinction stuff. Some later wave Combiner Wars Deluxe, but no Voyagers that I could see, but I didn't dig through too much because I've already got them all. Titans Return - some of the smaller (Basic?) figures like Rewind, and some of the later CW ones too.
Sounds good. Meanwhile I'm just sitting here importing from America; ends up the same price with the stupidly high currency exchange.
Same here. After not getting any of the CHUG lines for so long and having to import everything I just got used to it. Now I try to work out whether it's cheaper or not and even with the postage (though I do use BBTS's Pile of Loot) it doesn't work out that different. Fort Max and CW Shockwave are the only things I've bought locally lately. I thought Fort Max was a good bargain when Myer had it for $270, but I've worked out since that it probably would've been cheaper through BBTS at US$150 with postage. Only just though.
I use the TFSource stack function and just pile up everything over six months. I'm actually getting my vintage stack today; lots of legends, micromasters and minicons, but also plenty of CHUG. Yeah, I just ordered the entire waves of Deluxes, Voyagers and Legends for Titans Return. I sadly missed out on the second wave of Titan Masters though, but oh well.
For those looking for Australian sightings, TR Galvatron and Sentinel Prime have been seen in multiple K-Marts (Chermside and Morayfield are the ones I've taken note of). Wave one TR Legends are supposedly out at Myers and have been since their early release of Fort Max, but I've yet to see any. There's reports of them turning up in NSW as well in a chain we don't have in Queensland. Also... slightly old, but MP Tracks and Road Rage are out at TRU.
Toys r us in Aspley QLD has heaps of computrons , ALL classes of TITANS RETURN, like PM Optimus, Blaster, Fort Max, Galvatron, Sentienel, ALL 8 Deluxes (Highbrow, Blurr, Wierdwolf, ECT.) and waves 1 and 2 of titan masters. I am almost broke after that, but Heaps are left! The best is (inspite of a head master gimmick) Astrotrain!!! Loads of fun if you can get past the fact you have to pull the head off!! Wheelie was all that was missing! MP'S Bumblebees, Roadrage, Tracks, and Loudpedal. As far as RID stuff, I could careless as I get sick of looking at them, go on Hasbro get rid of the RID line geeze!
