Why not just wait a few months? It sounds like this thing really is a turd, so the price should drop quite fast as most people stay away due to the bad reviews.

Yeah after shock wave actually came out we will never hear the end of that argument .. I do love me some Takara masterpiece but lately they just don't seem to hit the mark like they did when shogo was their lead designer .. Luckily we have so many incredible options from third party

What? So you're saying that Ramjet has another QC fault apart from the misassembled shoulders that prevent transformation?
What tab piece on the wings? Do I have to fix that too?
And Tracks (who I've yet to open) also has a QC problem?
I do know about Ironhide’s misassembled shoulders and wafer thin chrome, plus same shyte chrome on Ratchet, and ain't impressed one bit.
Are Takara forcing me into the hands of the 3P's?

    Go Go Gadget neck!

I'm a little surprised KFC cut so many corners, here.
I realize they don't always use the best materials, I get that, but part of their problem is that they use such materials with such intricate molds.
This, on the other hand, same KFC materials, overly simplified mold in a lot of ways.

Cannot understand why they took an already easy mold and made it even weaker. I could understand if they thought the cost per unit was going to be super expensive, but this?

I can't help but wonder if KFC pulled some of this on purpose.

Oh. ... Oh .. Yeah. Tracks is a mess. Lol. QC issue with the whobbly knees aside, he is also very sloppy. He has no neck lock-in (you can force it some way, and have it not bobble all over, but it's an odd "fix", and the shoulders, and and and... oh man. Lol.

Suuuuper weirdly enough, the Tracks KO is magnificent! They tightened up everything and added rubber tires even! I don't even know how that all happened, but it did haha~

Back to Ramjet - there's two like, little pieces on each wing (I'm so terrible at explaining) that are installed backwards.

These do not effect transformation and are not very noticeable. But the tight-er click/snap of going from bot-to-jet or jet-to-bot is a little worrisome. Every single one of us will have this issue however. When the pictures were shown, the guy who first noticed it had some side by side's with Starscream to show the subtle difference. Once he swapped them, he mentioned the tight-er click/snap wasn't so rough and looked a little better.

Someone may be able to link/show some pictures of it. It may be buried a bit in the news and rumors/Ramjet thread.

I managed to dodge that bullet because I already hated the MP Seeker mold and they actually managed to make it worse. Plus the absurd prices the Seekers are being sold at these days.

Post 3303 (was going to quote it here, but ultimately Ramjet is off topic)

OK, thanks for the extra info. Is Road Rage as bad?
Maybe I should look at getting that KO...
What a sorry state of affairs, I usually abhor KO's :(

Thanks for the post number. Looks like you have to drill holes in Ramjet to do that fix, so I might pass on that one. Still gotta fix the shoulders.

There's no way the head is transformed correctly in those pictures.

I'm still looking forward to reviews, but as it stands, there's also no way that this is worth $95. I think I'm gonna cut my losses and take the cancellation fee.

I might seem insane, but the new pics haven't changed my opinion of him; He still looks really great to me. Just the issue with the cheap-looking tires (totally paintable), and the missing side vents (pretty sure they are do-able as well).

I am, however, concerned about the feel/quality of him in hand. This first review has spooked me good.

Then again, I am content and had no glaring issues with my Ollie and Apollyon.....so chances are, even if the consensus is "this sucks", I will probably somehow disagree! :lol

I just paid for mine (it was my last unpaid pre-order). I've decided I will get it to support Omni and hope he gets with a better company in the future. Sort of like Huff.

You might also consider a store that does not charge cancellation fees.

Whoah... Hold the phone. Tracks KO with rubber tires??? Tell me more!
I deal with Tracks issues because I love tracks. But let ocular max BadCube or fans toys make one and I'm sure to give it a go.

Nope no didn't - just repeating what I heard over in that thread and from the pictures :)

Yeah. I don't own any KO's. Nothing against it. No moral whatever - but as long as I can comfortably afford the real stuff, I'll continue on getting 'em :)

I would of thought having rubber tyres would be a massive reason to avoid the KO. With the rubber cracking eventually.
But back on Spinout, mines on its way from Chimungmung. Looking forward to it.
