It sucks that I'm leaning towards cancelling now, but that translation was awesome! Had me laughing more than once.

haha, that review was written in "Cantonese", you can speak it but technically it is no formal way to be written... thus no translator can translate that...

A piano in the Congo with a miserable woman.

    That does it. Preorder cancelled.

Still really want to see some reviews, and hoping issues are fixable with subsequent runs. Hard to be sure, but maybe deformation of Italy love dumped me straight out is a qc issue and not a design issue.

I went ahead and bought a Diaclone red BC Blaze instead (I already have a BC Sunsurge) and gave up on this one. The design really had me originally and I tried to defend it for a long time, but even from the pics you can tell this thing has become a disappointment. I hope this doesn't scare off Omni. Maybe next time he can get better connections to a factory that won't f*** his design up. The design still looks top notch to me.

    HAHA!

    ....

*Walks out door, single tear hitting the floor animu style with a echo and everything*

    :(  lol

    I love google translate.

Honestly though, even though we "don't display him (Surge) from the back," these cars are "supposed" to be real cars/represent them. They're Masterpieces and not chugs.

As funny as the quote was with translate, this is what he was talking about I assume. The cool thing is being able to transform these guys, and know what cars they transform into.

At least it's a relief that the explosion during parting of the spleen is no problem. I was worried about that.

Not looking real promising for the rest of him though.

LOLOLOLOL! No offense intended to the writer, I know the problem is the translation, but it sounds like some drug-induced Beat poetry.

Too bad first impressions are ominous. I love the aesthetic, I was seriously considering getting it, but it's unlikely now. Some of the problems may be the design, but that shouldn't be seen as a personal attack on Omni. You can be a great designer and still make mistakes. I'm assuming this is his first attempt at a figure at this level. Lord knows many of my first attempts at whatever have been far from perfect. Hopefully, even if the figure is as problematic as first signs suggest, he has the opportunity to try again, taking what he's learned both about engineering and dealing with production to do a better job realizing a figure with this aesthetic style in the future.

But the original Sunstreaker was supposed to be a modified Lamborghini Countach, which is why the rear end looked different on the toy and that was represented in the toon. If you want a "real car" look, you have to delete the silly add on intakes that aren't "real car" as well...

And hasn't the Official Masterpiece line veered straight toward "toon accuracy" now? I can't tell what the hell they are doing, lol...

It really is hilarious cause it's not even 50% correct. The part you have in bold, proper translation would be "robot body or robot mode looks good, although chest is big, bulk like BC, nice next to MP-12". If I have the time later, I can translate it all.

Oh. I was just trying to throw some props to this design. I am all for toon accuracy (in bot mode - if making a compromise to alt mode needs to happen to make bot look better, then yeah, I am all for it).

    Tried my best. Here goes

    Translation:

I usually don't write reviews, but this time if I don't write, I am not happy. Originally intended to buy both Spinout and SunSurge. As said: compare, to see which is right.

Yesterday picked it up, Packaging from afar looks good, like MP, but closer look, new company is new company. Most likely didn't double check, photography needed to be spank. It's okay, the product is more important.
Got home and play with it a while. Already feeling the faith of this is like the Megasteel.

To demonstrate that I am not the type [negative collector] the goods:

    1. Robot body looks good, although chest is big, has bulk like BC, next to MP-12, just right.
    2. Car's rear is well made, it's the most satisfy part.
    3. Transformation simple, articulation is not bad. Ironman pose, no problem
    4. Two different head style to choose from.
    5. For a new company, QC is exceptional.

    Finished praise, let's go.

    1. Lots of parts use soft plastic, reason might be so it doesn't break during transformation, ok say you are careful, still the upper body is not stable, and swings back and forth, not good.
    2. Flat footed feet design, transformation back is good, but the side panels on the leg gets in the way of the feet, limits articulation, and also cause scratches, bad.
    3. Head transformation is weird, ok, should there not be a clip or something to fasten it? Not good enough.
    4. (This part is hard to translate cause it slang type terms) basically he is saying something about the sprue markings and along with soft plastic make this feel like a cheap knockoff. Feel bad.

For the rest of the translations, I will just go with what he is trying to say instead of trying to directly translate.

    5. Talks about the wheels and how it is not pin on and how it is screw on. It rolls find but It did pop off during transformation.
    6. Talks about the poorly done manual and how he struggled for an hour trying to figure out how to transform it back.
    7. Minor nitpick in that there is no space made for the Lamborghini logo.

Final thoughts on Spinout, it isn't good. As for new company Omnigonix, He is saying that new companies like Voodoo and DX9 did much better and that he would like to sell this to buy the red Sunsurge.

    Thanks, appreciate the translation.
Now I might just wait for a video review and see how this sucker looks before I make a purchase...

Thanks for the translation. Its a shame that his experience with this figure wasn't good. I'm gonna pass on this. I'm still not sure about Sunsurge. At least this saves me some cash.
