you are thinking Grant. i'm talking Joe, and yes they mentioned him as being dead but but that could have been a trick
if he thought Joe was alive, and if so, willing. my guess is you dont remember, either season 1 or 2, its mentioned that Joe was killed "inadvertently" by his father when ASIS agents tried to arrest Slade at his home. but whos to say how much of that story was true also, in he comics,Joe has not always sided with his father, in fact he turned on his father and joined the Teen Titans for a while. then went nuts got better went nuts again.... anyway, theres no reason to assume he would help his father for sure
Seriously! Andy was no longer brainwashed, he was just downright evil! His betrayal led to the death of Laurel in Iron Heights. He tortured John, his own flesh and blood, without hesitation. He put his sister-in-law and infant niece in peril by attacking the very truck that they were safe in with a rocket launcher. The way I see it, that word should be burned onto his forehead of his dead body as further punishment for all the crimes, betrayal, and pain that he willing committed and inflicted towards his family!
Andy has been with H.I.V.E since 2009, that's 8 years of brainwashing that can't be erased with detox, letters, and beatings. The fact Andy calls H.I.V.E his family and compares Damien Darhk to Jesus Christ proves his been deeply brainwashed, hell Darhk even told John his brother was fare beyond reach.
Maybe I just didn't catch the name, but I was hoping the "Magic Tutor" would've been someone of some level of prominence in the DC world. I'm not expecting Dr. Fate or the like, but still. Due to my schedule, I don't watch it live, I always watch it later and this was the first time I actually put it off since I wasn't all that fired up to watch it. Man, my interest in the DC shows have late have really dropped off.
I'm gonna be sad once season 4 ends, Damien Darhk's been the best thing all season and it's gonna be a bummer once he dies.
Esrin Fortuna on IMDB. Apparently a new character for the show. Esrin Fortuna - Arrowverse Wiki - Wikia I thought it'd be Madame Xanadu, but def not Zatana.
Well that episode had some good moments in it. I liked the John finally did what was right and how they handled the outcome of it. I loved seeing Madam Xanadu. That was awesome and I hope we see more of her since she didn't really do much of anything. WHat would have really been cool would have had her tell Ollie and Felicity that she became immortal by beating the devil at a card game. On the other hand, the Ollie and Felicity stuff is so damn annoying. Also not a fan of Alex selling out to HIVE. Does this mean he has been working for them the entire time? UGH!!
With the way Andy was talking about threatening Diggle's family and the fact that he has absolutely no remorse for having a hand in Laurel's death and abandoning his family, I was thinking that there was no way they can redeem him because he is too dangerous to let go again. However, I thought for sure that they would keep him alive a little longer (it wouldn't be the most questionable decision this show has made). I definitely wasn't expecting him to die right there in the way he did.
Glad to see Colton is doing better. With all the Olicity and Merlyn melodrama this season, his endearing backflipping is definitely welcome now.
Best part of this prior episode was all of Diggle's rage moments and when he finally chose his real family over his brother. I hope season 5 is the final season and I hope it's a return to form. This past season and a half have been trying on me and if I recall correctly, the show is supposed to bookend with Oliver getting off of Lian Yu. I think that's where everything goes full circle and should end.
